摘要: A battery balancing system includes an energy balancing circuit. Multiple battery cells are coupled to the energy balancing circuit. A health assessment circuit is coupled to the multiple battery cells and configured to sense a state of health and a charge of each of the multiple battery cells. The balancing circuit switches energy between the multiple battery cells as a function of the sensed state of health and state of charge of each of the multiple battery cells to balance charge there between.

摘要: A battery management system includes a set of N battery modules coupled together in series, a set of N battery monitors, and a controller. Each battery monitor in the set of N battery monitors is coupled to a respective battery module in the set of N battery modules and measures a battery parameter of the respective battery module. The controller determines a preprogrammed delay for each battery monitor and provides the respective preprogrammed delay to each battery monitory. The controller transmits a synchronization command to the set of N battery monitors, which wait the respective preprogrammed delays in response to receiving the synchronization command before stopping updates to values of the respective battery parameters. The controller transmits a read command to the set of N battery monitors, which transmit read responses to the controller comprising values of the battery parameters.

摘要: In a vehicle power supply device mounted on a vehicle and obtaining a low voltage power supply from a high voltage power supply via a step-down means, electric shock to the human body is prevented without using an insulating means such as a transformer. A vehicle power supply device converts power from high voltage to low voltage by selectively connecting a predetermined power storage element group to a low voltage electric load from a high voltage power supply formed by connecting power storage elements in series. A leakage current from the high voltage power supply is measured during the dead time period when the power storage element group is not connected to the low voltage electric load. When the value exceeds a predetermined value, cutting off the power supply from the high-voltage power supply to the high-voltage load device, so that electric shock is prevented.

摘要: A battery control system and method selectively connect battery strings to one or more conductive buses by plural electrically controllable switches. The switches are controlled to one or more of (a) connect the strings with one or more of the load or the power source via the one or more conductive buses in a first sequence and/or (b) disconnect the strings from one or more of the load or the power source via the one or more conductive buses in a second sequence. The first sequence and the second sequence are based on one or more of states of charge between the strings, different charge capacities between the strings, different electric currents conducted through the strings, different polarities of the electric currents conducted through the strings, and/or a speed of a vehicle that is powered by the one or more loads.

摘要: A power supply system includes power supply equipment and a vehicle management device. The power supply equipment is configured to be supplied with electric power from an external power supply and supply the electric power to a vehicle traveling in a power supply lane. The vehicle management device is configured to manage a plurality of vehicles configured to transfer electric power to and from the power supply equipment. The vehicle management device is configured to select balancing vehicles to be controlled for power balancing of the external power supply. The vehicle management device is configured to, when the vehicle management device determines that the control of any of the balancing vehicles for power balancing of the external power supply has been stopped halfway through, select a substitute vehicle to be controlled for power balancing of the external power supply from the vehicles traveling in the power supply lane.
