Abstract:
An improved grinding mill that utilizes mill stones that minimizing the mechanical processes required to regulating the mill stones and allow an user to gain quick and easy access to the mill stones by removing a hopper. In addition, to provide a base frame for the mill that secures both mechanical and electrical parts including the mill housing to reduce manufacture and repair time.
Abstract:
A disc mill assembly for a pulverizing system includes: a flywheel, a water jacket, two disc blades, and two ring clamps. In alternate embodiments, the disc mill assembly also includes: an air inlet to provide input air from an external air supply and an improved blade height adjustment mechanism. A disc blade is also provided. The disc blade is a single member with a central aperture that is the only through hole in the blade. Users may cost-effectively adopt a disposal versus sharpening policy for replacement of the disc blade. A method for controlling a temperature of material in a disc mill assembly having first and second disc blades is provided. The method includes: directing an adjustable input air stream, directing material to be ground, monitoring the temperature of the material, and controlling the air stream directing and/or the material directing in response to the temperature monitoring.
Abstract:
A rubber grinding machine and method is provided for ambient temperature grinding of rubber material to form finely ground rubber particles. The rubber grinding machine includes a feed tube, a grinding module, a conveyor, a screening module and a vacuum system. Rubber material is placed in the feed tube which advances the rubber material into the grinding module using a plunger or auger. The grinding module includes a grinding wheel which grinds the rubber material into rubber particles. The grinding wheel is surrounded by a shroud which includes a water-cooled cooling jacket. The water is circulated through the cooling jacket to cool the shroud and its interior. Rubber particles ground by the grinding wheel fall through the bottom of the shroud onto a conveyor which deposits the rubber particles onto the screen module. The screen module includes at least one screen for separating the rubber particles by size. Rubber dust produced by the grinding wheel is processed by a vacuum system and may later be screened.
Abstract:
A mill includes a first mill having a first grinding region, a second mill having a second grinding region opposed to the first grinding region and provided to be rotatable relatively to the first mill, and a heat radiation mechanism which is provided in at least one of the first mill and the second mill and radiates friction heat generated as a result of rotation of the first mill and the second mill relative to each other, and the heat radiation mechanism is provided in a portion except for the first grinding region and the second grinding region.
Abstract:
A reducing machine having an air cooled cutting discs is disclosed. The air cooled discs have cutting surfaces on both sides. The cutting surfaces have edges which are sharpened for cutting input material when the cutting surface is facing the cutting surface of the opposed disc. When the cutting surface of the stationary disc is facing the housing, the cutting surface acts as a heat sink to air cool the stationary disc and the mill assembly in general. Air inlets in the housing lid permit air to flow over the cooling surface of the stationary plate. Air inlets in the carrying plate permit the carrying plate to channel air flow over the rotating cooling surface. A damper restricts air flow over the air cooling surfaces to control the temperature of the reducing machine, such as during start up.
Abstract:
A method and system for of cooling a disc mill having a rotating disc blade is disclosed. A disc mill may have a first and second material outlet positioned generally along tangents to the rotating disc blade. Air may be drawn through the first and second material outlets. A disc mill may include first and second air inlets positioned generally along tangents to the rotating disc blade. The first and second inlets may direct air streams to cool a first and second portion of the rotating disc blade and pulverized material.

Abstract:
A powder based granules disintegrating and sizing device, includes: a drive shaft that is inserted horizontally in the casing main body; a plurality of circular plates that are fixedly supported at intervals by the drive shaft; and a stator, the plate surface of the circular plate and the inclined surface of the stator configuring a gap portion A where a powder based granules accumulates, and a narrowest gap portion between the circumferential edge of the circular plate and the stator configuring a disintegrating and sizing portion B. The stator stretches over the entire circumference of the circular plate, a raw material feeding port is provided on a side wall in the vicinity of the drive shaft of the casing main body, and a cutout portion through which a raw material passes is formed on the plate surface of the circular plate.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a method and apparatus for grinding with two toothed plates operating face to face, one of which plates is fixed and the other of which is rotated by a shaft, with an axial supply of material to be ground and peripheral evacuation of the ground products. Chambers are provided for circulating of cooling water in contact both with the fixed plate and with the rotatable plate. At an intermediate radial point of the plates, a liquid nitrogen injector which enables reduction of the temperature of the product during treatment and making the grinding zone inert is fitted. The invention is applied to the grinding of rubber.
