摘要:
An electric keyboard musical instrument 10 includes: keys 32; third switches 36 that detect that the keys 32 are pressed down to a position x3; various switches 12 to 15 that receive a selection of a kind of tone; and a CPU 21 that executes generating a sound with a tone of the kind received by various switches 12 to 15 in response to the third switch 36 detecting that a key 32 is pressed down to a position x3. The CPU 21 changes a time from when the third switch 36 detects that a key 32 is pressed down to position x3 until sound generation is executed, according to a kind of tone received through the various switches 12 to 15.

Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for altering pitch of a note played on a musical instrument keyboard of a touch-sensitive electronic display. An exemplary method includes playing a note of a key of the keyboard on the touch-sensitive display touched by a user. The method includes continuously altering the pitch of the played note as the user slides a point of contact on the touch-sensitive display horizontally from the key being played across adjacent keys to a second key, in accordance with the keys being contacted during the sliding of the point of contact. In a further aspect, the method includes detecting motion of user contact in a direction other than horizontally across keys of the keyboard, such as vertical, and activating a sound effect in addition to pitch alteration in response to the detection. Example sound effects include tremolo, vibrato, echo, and sound filter effects.

In an automatic correction process, automatic correction processing portions 60 are connected to a set reference channel and target channels, respectively, so that test signals will be input to the automatic correction processing portions 60, respectively. A rise detection portion 60a detects a rise in a test signal input to a corresponding channel, so that a value counted by a sample counter 61 is latched by a latch 60b at the rising timing of this test signal. In accordance with a difference between the counted value latched to the reference channel and the counted value latched to the target channel, a time difference is calculated. In accordance with the time difference, a delay time set for a channel delay means of the target channel is automatically corrected.

There is provided a music accompaniment apparatus that is connected to at least one external device to reproduce an audio or video signal, the music accompaniment apparatus including: an audio input section for inputting an external audio signal; an audio signal processing section for processing an audio signal including an accompaniment signal internally provided and an external audio signal input through the audio input section, and externally outputting the processed audio signal; a video signal processing section for processing a video signal including a caption signal, and externally outputting the processed video signal; a time delay calculating section for calculating the difference between a transmission time of a check signal to the at least one external device and a reception time of the check signal from the at least one external device to compute a time delay representing a delay of the audio or video signal for the at least one external device; and a control section for controlling the whole operation of the music accompaniment apparatus including generation and transmission/reception of the check signal, and controlling the transmission time of the video or audio signal in correspondence to the time delay. The present invention guarantees an efficient use of a digital device having a time delay as connected to the music accompaniment apparatus.

Circuitry in a wireless remote control apparatus applies a signal to a sensor plate of the device and detects the field, e.g. to sense a parameter related to the field that is responsive to relative position of a part of the body of the operator. In the example, the field generation and sensing are performed during a first time slice. During a second time slice, a reference voltage is applied to the plate, and a transmitter sends a signal via an antenna representing the sensed field state. During the first time slice, however, there is no transmission from the antenna, and the antenna functions as a shield with respect to a lead connecting the circuitry to the plate. The antenna comprises a coaxial conductor around a portion of the electrical lead, and a dielectric material separates the electrical lead and the antenna. The example takes the form of a ring.

When a PC connected to a mixer engine functions as an editing device to edit a configuration of signal processing in the mixer engine, components and wires included in the edited configuration of signal processing are displayed within a CAD screen on a display of the PC, and a delay amount occurring in processing corresponding to each of the components and wires when the mixer engine executes the signal processing is displayed in correspondence with each of the components and wires on the CAD screen. In this case, the delay amount corresponding to each wire is a value determined according to a result of assignment in which signal processing corresponding to each component is assigned to a plurality of signal processors in the mixer engine.

Embodiments of a method and apparatus are described which provide for a consistent, continuous and/or repeating signal. Such a repeating signal may be used to set the controls for a processor. For example, an embodiment of a preview sampler described herein allows a user to repeatedly output a data segment into a processor so that the processor can be adjusted to achieve a desired effect. Such a method and apparatus provides improved results when compared to an individual attempting to repeatedly generate a data signal (e.g., a note or chord on a musical instrument).

When a knob is at a center position, transmission levels of first volumes on a path from a second effector to a first effector, and second volumes on a path from the first effector to the second effector are both zero, and the first effector and the second effector operate independently. When the knob is displaced to right side from the center position, the transmission level of the second volumes is controlled according to the displacement amount, but the transmission level of the first volumes stays at zero. Thus, the second effector is connected in series to the first effector. When the knob is displaced to left side from the center position, the transmission level of the first volumes is controlled according to the displacement amount, but the transmission level of the second volumes stays at zero. Thus, the first effector is connected in series to the second effector.

A resonance tone generation apparatus 20 is applied to an electronic musical instrument DM having a tone generator for generating a musical tone signal indicative of a piano sound in accordance with a tone generation instruction signal having a key number n, and a plurality of output portions for externally outputting a musical tone signal. The resonance tone generation apparatus 20 has a plurality of resonance tone generation circuits 30(n) each of which is assigned a different key number n, retrieves a musical tone signal indicative of a musical sound of the piano, generates a musical tone signal indicative of a resonance tone imitating a tone of a string of the piano resonated by the musical sound of the piano indicated by the retrieved musical tone signal, and supplies the generated musical tone signal to the plurality of output portions. Each of the resonance tone generation circuits 30(n) has a resonance circuit 40(n) which has a plurality of resonance frequencies corresponding to the assigned key number n, and generates a musical tone signal indicative of the resonance tone imitating the tone of the string of the piano resonated by the musical sound of the piano indicated by the retrieved musical tone signal, and a panning setting circuit 50(n) which generates a plurality of musical tone signals which are to be supplied to the plurality of output portions, respectively, and each of which indicates a different resonance tone in which a tone volume of the resonance tone indicated by the musical tone signal generated by the resonance circuit 40(n) is changed in accordance with the assigned key number, and supplies the generated musical tone signals to the plurality of output portions, respectively.
