Abstract: A method and a system for generating music for an electronic device are provided. The system is configured to generate a first portion of generative music by combining a plurality of audio stems based on a determined first current state vector; measure, with the biosensor, the EEG data while the first portion of generative music is played by the speakers to the user; in response to determining that the current state should be modified to achieve a desired goal state of the user, determine a second set of music parameters for achieving the desired level of focus of the user; generate by the processor and play at the speaker a second portion of generative music characterized by the second set of music parameters to achieve the desired goal state of the user.

Abstract: Implementations of the subject matter described herein provide a solution that enables a machine to automatically generate a melody. In this solution, user emotion and/or environment information is used to select a first melody feature parameter from a plurality of melody feature parameters, wherein each of the plurality of melody feature parameters corresponds to a music style of one of a plurality of reference melodies. The first melody feature parameter is further used to generate a first melody that conforms to the music style and is different from the reference melody. Thus, a melody that matches user emotions and/or environmental information may be automatically created.

Abstract: Example methods and systems for determining media files based on activity levels are described. An example method includes receiving information indicative of a first speed of the computing device, and receiving information indicative of a geography of a location of the computing device. The method further includes determining, from a plurality of media files tagged with respective tempo identifiers, a first media file based on the geography of the location of the computing device and also having a tempo that substantially matches to the first speed of the computing device. The method includes providing an indication of the first media file to a media player, and based on a change in the first speed of the computing device to a second speed, determining from the plurality of media files tagged with respective tempo identifiers, a second media file having a tempo that substantially matches to the second speed.

Abstract: An audio signal output from a tone generator 14 is fed into a coil 16 provided in a transducer for vibrating a sound board, so that a sound signal is generated by the vibration of the sound board. A microcomputer 30 obtains temperature values of the coil 16 measured by two different methods, and suspends supply of audio signals to the coil 16 or reduces the amount of audio signals supplied to the coil 16 if the difference between the two coil temperature values is outside a predetermined range. In a case as well where one of the two coil temperature values has risen excessively, the microcomputer 30 suspends supply of audio signals to the coil 16 or reduces the amount of audio signals supplied to the coil 16.
