Abstract: An air conditioner includes an outdoor unit having a compressor for compressing a refrigerant and an outdoor heat exchanger. A ventilator is connected to the outdoor unit by a plurality of refrigerant pipes. The ventilator includes a case having a supply passage, through which the outside air flows into the indoor space, a discharge passage through which the indoor air is discharged to the outside, a partition wall disposed in the case and separating the supply passage and the discharge passage, a main heat exchanger disposed in the supply passage, an outside air inlet damper, an indoor air outlet damper, a circulation hole damper, an outdoor temperature sensor, and a controller, configured to control operations of the dampers.

Abstract: An outdoor unit includes a housing, a heat exchanger, an electric component box, a substrate, and a heat dissipator including multiple fins. The fins each have a first end situated in a windward side of an air passage formed between adjacent ones of the fins, and the first end faces the electric component box. When the heat dissipator and the electric component box are viewed from above, a first clearance gap having a first width and a second clearance gap having a second width greater than the first width are formed between the first end and the electric component box. The second clearance gap is situated closer to a back panel than the first clearance gap.

Abstract: An air conditioning apparatus includes a casing having intake and blow-out ports, a partition member dividing an interior of the casing, a heat exchanger and a centrifugal fan. The centrifugal fan includes a hub and a bladed wheel having a plurality of rearward blades and sucks air existing in the heat exchanger compartment into the fan compartment through the fan entrance. The bladed wheel is mounted in the fan compartment such that a rotary shaft of the bladed wheel is oriented along an opening direction of the fan entrance and an opening direction of the blow-out port. The hub connects blow-out port side ends of the plural rearward blades and is configured to be rotated about the rotary shaft. The hub has an outer diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the rearward blades.

Each of the blades includes a blade chord center point on an inner peripheral end thereof and an other blade chord center point on an outer peripheral end thereof, positioned so that a line segment connecting therebetween has an inclination to the outlet section proportionally to closeness to outer periphery of the blade. A blade chord center line forms a curve being convex toward the outlet section across the entire area.
