摘要: A method for installing a truss-wall stud unit includes coupling a set of bottom plates with a foundation, coupling a set of hinge brackets with the set of bottom plates, coupling a first partial truss with a second partial truss to form a truss-wall stud unit, coupling the truss-wall stud unit with the bottom plates and hinge brackets, and hoisting the truss-wall stud unit into a substantially vertical position. A system includes truss-wall stud units which are connected to bottom plates using hinge brackets. Once connected to the hinge brackets and bottom plates, the truss-wall stud units are hoisted upright into a substantially vertical position using a cable system with a cable support system. Temporary interlocking spacer bars are used to brace the truss-wall stud units at predetermined intervals.

摘要: A bracing device has a supporting module and a restraining element mounted around the supporting module to provide a restraining-supporting effect to the supporting module. The supporting module has at least one supporting element. The at least one supporting element is elongated and has an axial segment and two connecting heads. The axial segment has at least one concave edge and at least one loading section. The connecting heads are respectively formed on two connecting ends of the axial segment. The restraining element has at least one viewing hole aligning along the at least one loading section of the axial segment to enable a user to see the at least one supporting element of the bracing device via the at least one viewing hole without dismantling the restraining element.

摘要: One possible embodiment of the invention could be a construction spacer for holding boards in a parallel and spaced-apart manner comprising a Y-shaped base having a first and second base ends, the first base end forming a C-shaped aperture; a pair of spaced apart J-shaped attachment arms that perpendicularly attaches to the first base end and further forms hook portions that together can hold a first board; a pair of lateral support arms that extends outward from the first body end; an L-shaped attachment arm that perpendicularly attaches to the second base end and forms a catch that can hold a second board parallel to the first board, wherein the C-shaped aperture can accept a second base end of another construction spacer to allow a plurality of construction spacers to be connected together in tandem order.

摘要: This disclosure relates to building trades where precise spacing between structural members ensures support via use of a plurality of elongate spacers. The spacers include at least one intermediate transit tacking member and a pair of nail- or screw-receiving apertures on opposing ends of thereof. One of the opposing ends serves as a pivoting end and the opposite end includes one or more relatively shorter member near the aperture formed therein. These member(s) can be driven into an adjacent trust or other support member while a final precise position is determined. To determine the final precise position to affix a given spacer one or more indicia is provided. Such indicia can include end edges, one or more cut-out features and/or one or more cut-out features and/or numbered or lettered (or other symbols) indicating the relative spacing from one end of the elongate spacer to the other.

摘要: A pipe brace for securing a pipe passing through a frame of a wall. The pipe brace includes a structural member including a first wall defining an aperture and a second wall extending from the first wall, the first wall and the second wall at least partially defining a channel that receives at least a portion of the frame. A gasket engages a perimeter of the aperture in a press-fit relationship. The pipe may be inserted into the aperture from either a first side or a second side of the aperture, and the gasket forms an air-tight seal with pipe to inhibit airflow.

The supporting module has at least one supporting element. The at least one supporting element is elongated and has an axial segment and two connecting heads. The axial segment has at least one concave edge and at least one loading section. The connecting heads are respectively formed on two connecting ends of the axial segment. The restraining element has at least one pair of side boards, two restraining boards and at least one viewing hole. Each one of the restraining boards has an I-shaped cross section, an inner panel, an outer panel and a connecting panel. The at least one viewing hole is formed through the restraining element and aligns along the at least one concave edge of the axial segment.

摘要: A connection between standard metal studs with a separate backing connector is provided. The backing connector has a planar backing web with lateral longitudinal flanges that receives the lip flange of a first wall stud and a projecting tab that interfaces with the side member of the first wall stud. The backing connector also has members that interface with and attach to selected portions of the surfaces of the second wall stud without engaging the lip flange of the second wall stud. The backing connector is adjustable in length.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a steel pipe stiffening brace member which has a shaft constituted of a main shaft member and an auxiliary shaft member and a stiffening steel pipe obtained by connecting side edges of four flat steels surrounding the shaft to each other. In the stiffening steel pipe, inside nook portions facing a side edge of the main shaft member are formed in stiffening members 25 and 26 having a V- or L-shaped cross section by fillet welding, and outside corner portions 25b and 26b are formed in the stiffening members 25 and 26 by partial penetration welding. Thereafter, side edges of the stiffening members 25 and 26 are abutted against each other, outside corner portions 27b and 28b are temporarily assembled by partial penetration welding, and outside corner portions 25b and 26b and outside corner portions 27b and 28b are subjected to partial penetration welding.
