Abstract:
An aerosol assembly for dispensing texture material in a coating on a portion of a target surface substantially to match a pre-existing texture pattern on the target surface, comprising a container assembly and an outlet structure. The container assembly comprises a container, an aerosol valve assembly, and an actuator member. The outlet structure defines a disc portion, at least one plug portion extending from the disc portion, and at least one outlet opening. Each of the at least one outlet openings defines a cross-sectional area associated with a predetermined to texture pattern. Pressurized fluid within the container forces the texture material out of the container through the selected outlet opening. The texture material is deposited on the portion of the target surface and allowed to dry to form the coating. The predetermined texture pattern associated with the selected outlet opening substantially matches the pre-existing texture pattern.
Abstract:
A system for applying a working pressure to a content of a pressure package. The system comprises a pressure package configured to hold a content to be delivered, a high-pressure chamber configured to hold a propellant, a pressure controller connected to the high pressure chamber by a feed-through and configured to control the working pressure on the content of the pressure package with the aid of the propellant on the basis of a predetermined reference pressure, and a movable member positionable in at least a control position and a neutral position. The movable member, in the control position, clears the feed-through to enable control of the working pressure. The movable member, in the neutral position, blocks the feed-through, so that control of the working pressure is then impossible. The movable member has a handle for positioning the movable member in the neutral position or in the control position.
Abstract:
The invention is a pressurized gas providing and gas pressure regulating device. The invention is a container with an over pressurized second chamber of pressurized gas that can be released to the exterior of the container when a valve that is integrally connected to a piston that along with a first cylinder forms a first chamber that is filled with a comparably less over pressurized gas that pushes the valve open when the gas pressure outside of the container is too low, thereby permitting the over pressurized second chamber to fluidly connect via the valve and thereby increase the pressure outside the container, such as to a volume of gas located below a piston within a fluid dispenser, the first and second chambers are shaped as cylinders and the first cylinder fits within the second chamber.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for dispensing a fluid, in particular a carbonated beverage, from a storage chamber of a container towards the outside via at least one closeable discharge port, comprising a pressure reservoir which is separated from the storage chamber and in which a pressurized propellant is accommodated, and which can be connected to the storage chamber via a pressure regulation mechanism. The pressure regulation mechanism includes an axially moveable regulating element that is impinged upon by means of a spring in the direction of an open position in which propellant is discharged from the pressure reservoir into the storage chamber. The ambient pressure to which the container is exposed acts upon the regulating element in the direction of the open position, and the internal pressure inside the storage chamber of the container acts upon the regulating element in the direction of the closed position.

Abstract:
The present invention concerns a pressure control system with a pressure control device (1) for maintaining a constant predetermined excess pressure arranged in a fluid dispensing container (50; 60). The pressure control device comprises a first cylinder (15), a piston (13) movable within said first cylinder filled with a gas exerting said predetermined excess pressure, a second chamber (7), a passageway from the second chamber (7) to the outside of the device leading to the container (50; 60), a valve (18, 23) for releasing and closing said passageway. The second chamber is substantially a second cylinder (2) with a closed end (34) and an open end provided with a rim part (4), on which a closure (5) is mounted to close the second chamber, such that the second chamber is encompassing the first chamber, wherein the first chamber is part of the closure.

Abstract:
A gas storage and delivery system for restoring pressure as it is depleted from a pressurized container, includes a container holding a product under pressure to be dispensed from the container, a quantity of gaseous material under pressure, occupying a space in the container and applying to the product a predetermined pressure of from about 30 to about 180 psig, and a quantity of gas-adsorbing material, storing under pressure a quantity of the gaseous material and releasing it into the container in response to a decrease in pressure in the container, thereby restoring and maintaining a predetermined pressure in the container as product is depleted from the container, wherein the gas-adsorbing material is wetted with a release-promoting agent to promote release of the sorbed gas from the gas-adsorbent material. A process of filling the container is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A pressure regulating device for regulating pressure in a pressurised dispensing vessel, the device comprising a cartridge for storing pressurized fluid; the cartridge being sealed by a cap assembly having an expandable chamber and a flow passage for communicating fluid from the cartridge to the interior of the dispensing vessel; a closure member in the cap assembly to open and close the flow passage and an actuation means in the cap assembly to actuate the closure member, wherein the actuation means operates in response to expansion of the expandable chamber; and a one-way valve communicating the expandable chamber with the interior of the dispensing vessel via an aperture in the cap assembly, the valve having a resilient chamber seal in the expandable chamber extending across the aperture and restrained by chamber wall so to allow fluid to enter through the aperture and past the seal to charge the chamber to a predetermined pressure difference below the pressure in the dispensing vessel, and wherein expansion of the chamber occurs when the pressure in the dispensing vessel is lower than the pressure in the chamber.
Abstract:
An aerosol assembly for applying texture material to a surface in a plurality of pre-existing texture patterns. One or more actuator assemblies are employed, each one defining an outlet orifice having a different cross-sectional area. Each actuator assembly is associated with or can be reconfigured to be associated with a different pre-existing texture pattern. In one form, the actuator assemblies comprise a plurality of identical button members having an outlet chamber and a tube member inserted into the outlet chamber of each button member. The tube members define discharge passageways having different cross-sectional areas. The entire actuator assembly is removed and replaced to dispense a different texture pattern. In another form, the actuator assemblies are individual button members manufactured to define outlet chambers that form discharge passageways of different cross-sectional areas. In a third form, the actuator assembly comprises an actuator button and a tube member that comprises a plurality of different sections each defining a discharge passageway portion having a different cross-sectional area.
