摘要： A multiple tool attachment system is adapted to be attached to demolition equipment. The system includes a universal body attached to the demolition equipment. A series of tools are independently attachable to the universal body. The universal body includes a guide slot extending longitudinally along the universal body. Each tool generally includes a pair of pivotable jaws adapted to be pivotably attached to the universal body with at least one linkage extending from the universal body and attachable to each jaw of the tool. A slide member is received within the guide slot, with each linkage attached to the slide member, and a piston cylinder arrangement is attached to the universal body and coupled to the slide member for moving the slide member and the jaws. The multiple tool attachment system is provided with quick change features and is designed to optimize the cutting characteristics throughout the movement cycle.

The first cutting die includes a post extending past the first cutting edge and the second cutting die includes a post receiving area which has a different cross-sectional shape than the post.

The replaceable shearing tip engages the upper jaw on at least three seats. The replaceable shearing tip is connected to the upper jaw by socket-head cap-screws.

A plug is insertable coaxially within the adjustable bore and sized to provide axial and rotational degrees of freedom within the bore. The plug includes a front face having a slot oriented transversely to the axis of the bore and sized to receive a cutting tool, and screws or the like for fixing the tool in the slot. A bolt or the like is carried by the head portion, for adjusting the bore to selectively permit axial and rotational movement of the insert therein, and to prevent said movement.

摘要： A compensating link arrangement is operatively associated with one of two blades in a shear assembly. The angular position of the links may be selectively adjusted to alter a horizontal force component that counteracts a separation force associated with the blades during a cutting stroke. Additionally, a preload bias is provided by a spring to urge the blades together during the cutting stroke. The preload bias minimizes the gap between the cutting blades and provides a precise, burr-free cut of a work material. According to one arrangement, the compensating links are disposed on the lower blade or bed knife. Providing the compensating links on the bed knife is particularly useful in a servo-controlled version of the shear assembly since inertial forces associated with the servo-controlled, movable blade do not affect the bed knife.

The present invention is directed toward the shearing blade assembly used in conjunction with the notching blade of the cut-off die set. The subject device includes a mounting block fixed to the upper platen of a die set, a shearing blade mounted to a shearing blade cartridge. The shearing blade cartridge is then inserted into the mounting block and is retained in position by a cam lock assembly. The cam lock assembly and cartridge system allows the shearing blade to be quickly and efficiently removed and replaced as needed.
