    摘要: In production of a reactive metal using a melting furnace for producing metal having a hearth, ingots can be efficiently produced by efficiently cooling the ingots extracted from the mold provided in the melting furnace. In addition, an apparatus structure in which multiple ingots can be produced with high efficiency and high quality from one hearth, is provided. A melting furnace for producing metal is provided, the furnace has a hearth for having molten metal formed by melting raw material, a mold in which the molten metal is poured, an extracting jig which is provided below the mold for extracting ingot cooled and solidified downwardly, a cooling member for cooling the ingot extracted downwardly of the mold, and an outer case for keeping the hearth, the mold, the extracting jig, and the cooling member separated from the air, wherein at least one mold and extracting jig are provided in the outer case, and the cooling member is provided between the outer case and the ingot, or between the multiple ingots.

    摘要: An injection-molding polyolefin composition suitable for obtaining an injection-molded article having excellent sliding property and excellent impact resistance and being free from delamination, said polyolefin composition being characterized in that(1) the composition consists substantially of an ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyolefin having an intrinsic viscosity of 10-40 dl/g as measured in decalin of 135.degree. C. and a low-molecular-weight to high-molecular-weight polyolefin having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.1-5 dl/g as measured in decalin of 135.degree. C.,(2) the ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyolefin is contained in the composition in an amount of 10-40% by weight based on the total weight of the ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyolefin and the low-molecular-weight to high-molecular-weight polyolefin,(3) the composition has an intrinsic viscosity [.eta.]c of 3.5-15 dl/g as measured in decalin of 135.degree. C.,(4) the composition has a melt torque T of 4.5 kg.cm or below, and(5) the section of the injection-molded square plate produced from the composition has a phase-separated structure composed of a continuous phase and a discontinuous phase and the average paticle diameter (average major axis length) of the discontinuous phase is 20 .mu.m or below.

    摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition composed of[A] 5 to 90% by weight of a linear polyolefin having an intrinsic viscosity [.mu.], measured in decalin at 135.degree. C., of 1.0 to 15.0 and a crystallinity of at least 45% and formed substantially of from 8 to 40% of an ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyolefin having an intrinsic viscosity [.mu.], determined at 135.degree. C., of 10 to 40 dl/g and 60 to 92% of a low-molecular-weight to high-molecular-weight polyolefin having an intrinsic viscosity [.mu.], measured in decalin at 135.degree. C., of 0.1 to 5.0 dl/g, and[B] 95 to 10% by weight of at least one type of cyclo-olefin resin having an intrinsic viscosity, measured in decalin at 135.degree. C., of 0.05 to 10 dl/g and a softening temperature of at least 70.degree. C. and selected from ring-opened polymers and ring-opened copolymers derived from cyclo-olefins represented by the following formula [I], ##STR1## wherein n is 0 or a positive integer, R.sup.1 to R.sup.12, independently from each other, represent an atom or a group selected from the class consisting of a hydrogen atom, halogen atoms and hydrocarbon groups, R.sup.9 to R.sup.12 may be linked to each other to form a monocyclic or polycyclic group which may have a double bond, and R.sup.9 and R.sup.11, or R.sup.10 and R.sup.12, may each form an alkylidene group,hydrogenated products of said polymers or copolymers, and addition polymers of ethylene with the cyclo-olefins of formula [I]. The composition is suitable for obtaining molded articles having self-lubricating property, molding dimensional stability, heat resistance and rigidity in a well-balanced combination.
