Abstract: An electronic device may comprise a flexible display, and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to control the display to: display an execution screen of a first application in a first area of the display in a first position state, expand the display to include the first area and a second area, in response to a switch from the first position state to a second position state, display, in the second area, at least one object representing an executable application based on application attribute information, based on the display being expanded, and display, on the expanded display, the execution screen of the first application together with an execution screen of an application corresponding to the selected object, in response to selection of any one of the at least one object.
