    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for acquiring an image of a subject are provided. The method for acquiring the image of the subject includes acquiring a first preliminary image and a second preliminary image of the subject through an image sensor operatively coupled to an electronic device, determining a candidate emission time relating to an acquisition of an output image of the subject, based on a difference between state information of at least part of the first preliminary image and state information of at least part of the second preliminary image, comparing the candidate emission time with a time corresponding to a synchronization period where a plurality of lines of the image sensor simultaneously acquires the output image, and acquiring the output image of the subject based on the comparison.

    Abstract: An electronic device and a method of controlling an operation thereof are provided. The method includes acquiring image data using an image sensor comprising a first plurality of pixels configured to have a first identical exposure time and a second plurality of pixels configured to have a second identical exposure time, wherein the acquiring of the image data includes acquiring the image data using the first plurality of pixels and the second plurality of pixels while the first plurality of pixels have the first identical exposure time that is identical to the second identical exposure time of the second plurality of pixels and controlling the image sensor such that the first plurality of pixels has the first identical exposure time different from the second identical exposure time of the second plurality of pixels, at least partially based on the acquired image data.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a refrigerator of which door is opened without interference by a structure positioned next to a side of the refrigerator. Since a main body and the door of the refrigerator are provided with hinge units, while the door is opening, the hinge units rotate in a direction in which the door rotates while protruding, and thus the structure positioned next to the side of the refrigerator is not positioned in a radius of rotation of the door, and the door may rotate without interference. In addition, hinge covers which move in conjunction with the movement of the hinge units are provided at one sides of the hinge units. When the hinge units protrude due to the opening of the door, since protrusions of the hinge units are provided not to be exposed by one ends of the hinge covers sliding.
