The method includes: receiving at least one piece of broadcasting program information; obtaining at least one of viewing history information which relates to at least one piece of content that was watched before a predetermined point of time and recording information which relates to at least one piece of content that was recorded before the predetermined point of time; and displaying at least one piece of broadcasting program information from among the at least one piece of broadcasting program information which corresponds to the predetermined point of time on a first region of the display device based on the predetermined point of time, and displaying at least one of the viewing history information and the recording information on a second region of the display device based on the predetermined point of time.
