    Abstract: A display device includes first dots connected to first scan lines, second dots connected to second scan lines and alternately disposed with the first dots in a first direction and a second direction different from the first direction, a scan driver including first stages respectively connected to the first scan lines and second stages respectively connected to the second scan lines, and a data driver connected to the first dots and the second dots through data lines. The first stages are connected to first clock lines, the second stages are connected to second clock lines, first stages except a first start stage are respectively connected to corresponding first scan lines of corresponding previous first stages, and second stages except a second start stage are respectively connected to corresponding second scan lines of corresponding previous second stages.

    Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of pixels respectively coupled to first scan lines, second scan lines and data lines; and a scan driver to supply first scan signals to the first scan lines and second scan signals to the second scan lines, wherein the pixel includes a first transistor having a gate electrode connected to a first node, one electrode connected to a first power line, and other electrode connected to a second node; a second transistor having a gate electrode connected to a first scan line, one electrode connected to a data line, and other electrode connected to the first node, the second transistor being turned on in a first time period of a frame when the first scan signal is applied; a third transistor having a gate electrode connected to a second scan line, one electrode connected to the second node, and other electrode connected to an initialization line, the third transistor being turned on in the first time period and at least one second time period of the frame when the second scan signal is applied; a storage capacitor having one electrode connected to the first node and other electrode connected to the second node; and a light emitting diode having an anode connected to the second node and a cathode connected to a second power line, wherein the number of the first and second scan signals applied to the pixel during the frame period is different from each other.

    Abstract: A display device includes data lines, scan lines, and pixels. Each of the pixels includes an organic light emitting diode, a first transistor (OLED), and a second transistor. The first transistor is electrically connected to an anode of the OLED. The second transistor is electrically connected to the first transistor, a scan line among the scan lines, and a data line among the data lines. The second transistors of the pixels may receive instances of a reference voltage from the data lines during a first period of a frame. The second transistors of the pixels may simultaneously receive instances of a turn-on scan signal from the scan lines during the first period of the frame. Cathodes of the OLEDs of the pixels may receive instances of a turn-off voltage for the OLEDs to turn off during the first period of the frame.

    Abstract: A display device is disclosed that includes a pixel component configured to output an image based on a first driving frequency, a scan driver configured to sequentially provide a scan signal to each pixel row in each frame based on the first driving frequency, and a driving controller configured control the scan driver such that, in the case where image data includes data corresponding to a static image, a display area is divided into a first area for the static image, and a second area for a video, and the first area is driven at a second driving frequency, and the second area is driven at a third driving frequency. The driving controller may control the scan driver such that a driving frequency corresponding to the first area is reduced to the second driving frequency, and a driving frequency corresponding to the second area is increased to the third driving frequency.
