An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display includes a flexible substrate, a barrier layer disposed on the flexible substrate, and an organic light emitting diode disposed on the barrier layer. The barrier layer includes a plurality of metal layers and a plurality of insulation layers in which the metal layers and the insulation layers are alternatively stacked with each other on the flexible substrate.
Abstract:
A rollable display is disclosed. In one aspect, the display includes a flexible display panel having first and second opposing ends and a jig connected to the first end of the flexible display panel. The flexible display panel is configured to be rolled around the jig. The display also includes a handle connected to the second end of the flexible display panel, a housing configured to accommodate the flexible display panel when rolled around the jig and a support unit connecting the handle to the housing. The support unit includes a frame guide having a track groove defined in a surface of the frame guide and a support frame. The support frame has a first end rotatably connected to one of the handle or the housing and a second end slidably connected to the track groove of the frame guide.
Abstract:
A rollable display device includes a flexible display panel, a housing, a grip part, and a connection part. The flexible display panel is configured to display an image. The flexible display panel is rolled and kept inside the housing. The grip part extends the flexible display panel from the housing to expose the flexible display panel to the outside of the housing. The connection part is between the flexible display panel and the grip part to connect the flexible display panel and the grip part. The connection part is not configured to display the image.
Abstract:
A flexible display apparatus having a rollable display panel includes a case having an opening portion formed therein, a first roller rotatably provided inside the case, a display portion provided on the first roller to be wound around the first roller or released from the first roller, and a rotatable guide portion provided inside the case to guide the display portion by radially bending the display portion at least one time during a movement of the display portion.
Abstract:
A display device includes: a frame; and a flexible display unit configured to be wound into the frame, and including a transparent adhesive layer, the adhesive layer having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The adhesive layer is configured to adhere layers on the first surface and the second surface thereof to each other, and a first elongation percentage of the adhesive layer in a first direction is greater than a second elongation percentage of the adhesive layer in a second direction crossing the first direction, the first direction being a direction along which the display unit is unwound from the frame.
Abstract:
A rollable display device including a flexible display panel; a housing inside which the flexible display panel is rolled and accommodated; a first flexural member in the housing, the first flexural member contacting a first surface of the flexible display panel to bend the first surface; a second flexural member in the housing and spaced apart from the first flexural member in a first direction, the second flexural member contacting a second surface of the flexible display panel to bend the second surface; a reel core in the housing and the flexible display panel is rollable around a reel core.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a pressure providing part, a fluid, and a tactile sensation providing layer. The pressure providing part generates an initial pressure by an electrical signal. The fluid generates a fluidic pressure by the initial pressure in each of active regions partitioned from each other. The tactile sensation providing layer is configured to protrude by the fluidic pressure. The pressure providing layer may include piezoelectric elements mechanically modified by the electrical signal.
Abstract:
A rollable display device, including a flexible display panel; a roller having a cylindrical shape, one end of the flexible display panel being fixed to the roller and rolled around the roller, the roller including a penetration part, the penetration part being inclined with respect to a circumferential surface of the roller, the flexible display panel penetrating through the penetration part; and a first guide at a portion adjacent to the penetration part on the circumferential surface of the roller, the first guide guiding the flexible display panel penetrating through the penetration part to be adjacent to an outer surface of the roller.
Abstract:
