Abstract: An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the display includes a lower substrate with a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area, an upper substrate facing the lower substrate and a display unit disposed on the display area. The display also includes a sealant disposed on the peripheral area and sealing the lower and upper substrates and a first metal layer interposed between the lower substrate and the sealant. The first metal layer includes a plurality of first through-portions extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction. The display also includes a second metal layer disposed on the first metal layer and comprising a plurality of second through-portions respectively corresponding to the first through-portions.

Abstract: A display panel having at least one hole inside a display area includes: a substrate; a plurality of display elements arranged in a plane around the at least one hole; and a plurality of signal lines extending in a first direction, wherein the at least one hole includes a first hole having a first width in a second direction and having two sides with asymmetric shapes with respect to a first central line passing through a center of the first width, wherein each of first and second neighboring signal lines extends in the first direction, the first signal line detours around a first side of the first hole, and the second signal line detours around a second side of the first hole opposite to the first side, and wherein the first and second signal lines are asymmetric with respect to a first virtual line therebetween.

Abstract: Provided is a display panel including a substrate, a plurality of pixels arranged on a display area of the substrate, a plurality of dummy pixels arranged on a non-display area of the substrate and emitting no light, and a plurality of signal lines configured to electrically connect the plurality of pixels to the plurality of dummy pixels, wherein some of the plurality of dummy pixels are arranged between a first region and a second region of the substrate. Accordingly, when static electricity is generated around the first region and/or the second region, the dummy pixels serves as a buffer to prevent a large voltage transmitted to the pixels to protect the display device.
