    Abstract: A method of determining an injury segment includes receiving a loss report, analyzing the loss report using a trained model to determine a severity of an injury, determining, based on the severity of the injury, an injury segment, and storing, via a processor, an indication of the injury segment. A computer system includes a processor configured to receive a loss report, analyze the loss report using a trained model to determine the severity of an injury, determine an injury segment, and store an indication of the injury segment.     Abstract: A method for classifying total loss based on claim characteristics may include training a machine learning model using labeled data to classify a loss report, receiving a loss report associated with a policy, analyzing the loss report using the trained model to classify the loss report into a category, and storing an indication of total loss in association with the loss report when the category is a total loss category. A method for automating loss report taking may include receiving loss report data and telephony data from a user, correlating the user to a policy and a profile, determining a preferred language of the user and displaying a prepopulated loss report and a loss report word track in the preferred language of the user to a customer support user, wherein the prepopulated loss report and loss report word track are interpolated into predetermined locations in a loss report template.

    Abstract: A computer implemented method may allow for the upload and verification of a document. In one aspect, the method may receive a file associated with an insurance company event, determine if the file contains malicious code and transmit the file to a temporary data server. The method may also determine if the file is in a supported file format and if the file meets a supported file size, convert the file and transmit the converted file to the client device for a verification that the converted file can be uploaded. The method may further receive the verification from the client device that the converted file can be uploaded, flag the converted file for association with a customer account associated with the client device and transmit the converted file to a permanent storage server.

    Abstract: An upload and verification system allows a user to upload files which the user would like to attached to the electronic record of a certain event associated with the company, for example, an insurance claim. A quarantine server may receive the uploaded file and scan the file for malicious code. The quarantine server may transmit the file to temporary storage server. The temporary storage server may receive the file, may convert the file to a file format supported by the company system and may compress the file. The temporary storage server may also transmit a preview of the file back to the client device, where the user can verify that the correct document has been uploaded and no mistakes have been made.
