Abstract: The image display apparatus includes a light attenuation section that reflects a portion of light emitted from a light source and a scanning section that scans the light reflected by the light attenuation section. The light attenuation section transmits a portion of light emitted from the light source. The light attenuation section has reflectance and transmittance and the reflectance is smaller than the transmittance. The image display apparatus further includes a light receiving element on which the light transmitted through the light attenuation section is incident. The image display apparatus also includes a control section that controls activation of the light source in accordance with detection results of the light receiving element.

Abstract: There is provided a three-dimensional measuring apparatus that performs three-dimensional measurement of an object using laser light, the apparatus including: a laser light source that emits the laser light; a line generating lens that widens and emits the laser light into line laser light having a first luminance distribution having a higher luminance at an edge portion than a luminance at a center portion in an extending direction; a mirror that swings around a swing axis, reflects the line laser light, and projects pattern light onto a projection surface including the object; an imaging portion that captures an image of the projection surface on which the pattern light is projected and acquires a pattern image; and a measuring portion that obtains a three-dimensional shape of the object based on the pattern image.

Abstract: A robot controller is a robot controller that couples a three-dimensional measuring device configured to perform three-dimensional measurement of an object using a laser beam and a human detection sensor configured to detect a person based on an image obtained by imaging a detection range including the object, the robot controller including a human detection signal receiver configured to receive, from the human detection sensor, a signal indicating that the person is present within the detection range and a robot arm controller configured to control a robot arm based on the signal. When the human detection signal receiver receives, from the human detection sensor, the signal indicating that the person is present within the detection range, the robot arm controller controls the robot arm to set an emitting direction of the laser beam to a direction different from a direction of the person.

Abstract: An image display device includes: a video light generation unit that generates video light modulated based on a video signal; a light diffraction unit (first diffraction optical element) that diffracts the video light emitted from the video light generation unit; a light scanning unit (light scanner) that spatially scans the video light; and a reflection unit that includes a light diffraction unit (second diffraction optical element) that diffracts video light scanned by the light scanning unit. A light reflection unit included in the light scanning unit is configured by the light diffraction unit. In the light diffraction unit, an interference fringe pitch is preferably constant. The light diffraction unit has portions in which interference fringe pitches are mutually different.
