    Abstract: A first UE may receive SCI including one or more resource reservations of a second UE based on an indication from a MAC layer to a PHY layer to monitor for the SCI including the one or more resource reservations of the second UE. The indication from the MAC layer to the PHY layer may trigger at least one of a sensing beam, a TCI state, or a spatial relation. The at least one of the sensing beam, the TCI state, or the spatial relation may be associated with monitoring for the SCI including the one or more resource reservations of the second UE. The first UE may transmit a beam to a target UE on one or more resources that are selected based on the one or more resource reservations of the second UE.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for sidelink multiple transmission reception points (TRPs) relaying are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a base station includes transmitting communication for a target user equipment (UE) to multiple TRPs for relaying the communication to the target UE over a sidelink. The method may further include configuring, for one or more of the target UE or at least one of the multiple TRPs, a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state for a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) between the UE and the at least one of the multiple TRPs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node establishing a signaling connection with an IAB donor node and a sidelink connection with a second IAB node or a user equipment (UE). The first IAB node may include a mobile termination unit and a distributed unit and may support sidelink communications. In some cases, the first IAB node may report an indication of sidelink communications support, receive an indication of sidelink communication authorization, and receive sidelink configuration information. The first IAB node may transmit one or more data messages to the IAB donor on the signaling connection and transmit one or more data messages to the second IAB node or the UE via the sidelink connection.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a first user equipment (UE) receiving, from an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node, an indication that the IAB node supports sidelink communications. The indication may be broadcast by the IAB node or indicated via an established connection, such as a radio resource control (RRC) connection. The first UE may select the IAB node to relay communications between the first UE and a second wireless node based at least in part on the indication that the IAB node supports sidelink communications. The UE may communicate one or more data messages with the second wireless node via the IAB node in accordance the selecting of the IAB node to relay the communications.
