Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for flow controlling a network stack. As one example, a method includes receiving, at a driver of a wireless device, an indicator associated with a transmission, determining an information flow status associated with the wireless device based at least in part on the received indicator, sending, to a network stack of the wireless device, a flow control message, the flow control message being based at least in part on the information flow status, and adjusting a transmission flow of one or more packets associated with the wireless device based at least in part on the flow control message. In some cases, the indicator includes an indication of congestion associated with a Quality of Service (QoS) level of the transmission.

Abstract: An access point (AP) may prioritize the allocation of uplink resources between multiple basic service sets (BSSs). In some aspects, the AP may select one of a plurality of BSSs, may allocate one or more random resource units (RUs) to only the selected BSS, and may transmit a frame indicating the allocation of the one or more random RUs to the selected BSS. Wireless devices belonging to the selected BSS may contend for access to the random RUs allocated by the frame, and then transmit uplink data using the random RUs.

Abstract: A system and method for closely synchronizing the transmission of real-time data streams is described. Synchronization data is transmitted by a cycle master for receipt by one or more cycle slaves. A cycle slave updates an internal state based on synchronization data received from the cycle master. This internal state may govern reproduction of received real-time data streams by the cycle slave. Such synchronization data may be inserted into transmitted media streams. The cycle slave internal state may be more accurately set by calculating timing differences between the cycle master and cycle slave and periodically adjusting that internal state between receipt of the synchronization data from the cycle master.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods are disclosed for receiving queued downlink (DL) data. In accordance with example embodiments, a first wireless device may receive, from a second wireless device, a beacon frame indicating a presence of queued DL data for concurrent delivery to a plurality of wireless devices. The first wireless device may receive permission to request delivery of the queued DL data. The first wireless device may transmit, to the second wireless device, a request for delivery of the queued DL data based on the permission. The first wireless device may then receive the queued DL data from the second wireless device.
