    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), generally including receiving, from a network entity, a configuration of one or more sounding reference signals (SRS) resources for codebook-based physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions, transmitting a report indicating a capability index associated with at least one downlink reference signal, transmitting the one or more of the SRS resources with an updated number of SRS ports associated with the capability index, if spatial relation information of the one or more of the SRS resources is associated with the downlink reference signal, receiving, from the network entity, signaling scheduling the UE to transmit a PUSCH based on one of the SRS resources, and transmitting the PUSCH with a number of PUSCH ports according to the updated number of SRS ports.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may generate first and second sets of feedback bits associated with first and second sets of downlink transmissions, respectively, the first and second sets of feedback bits scheduled for transmission in a first set of uplink symbols. The UE may identify, based on a change in a format associated with the first set of uplink symbols, that only a subset of the first set of uplink symbols is available for transmission of the first set of feedback bits and the second set of feedback bits. The UE may determine to defer transmission of one or both of the first set of feedback bits and the second set of feedback bits to a second set of uplink symbols based on availability of the subset of the first set of uplink symbols and on a deferment scheme.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for configuring group indices for uplink transmissions from a user equipment (UE) such that the UE may be able to determine whether to combine uplink transmissions scheduled on overlapping time resources. Specifically, the UE may combine uplink transmissions associated with a same group index for transmission in a single channel, and the UE may avoid combining uplink transmissions associated with different group indices. In some cases, the indication of a group index associated with an uplink transmission from a UE may be explicit (e.g., provided in a downlink control information (DCI) message), and, in other cases, the indication of a group index associated with an uplink transmission from a UE may be implicit (e.g., corresponding to a resource allocated for the uplink transmission).
