    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may attempt to establish a data session with a base station. The UE may transmit one or more session request messages including one or more route selection descriptors (RSDs) to the base station, and the UE may determine a successful RSD that may be compatible with the network based on a session accept message received from the base station. The UE may store the successful RSD at a location in memory for use in future session establishment procedures. For example, the UE may go out of service, and may re-acquire service with the same network. In such cases, the UE may transmit a session request message including the previously-accepted RSD to re-establish a data session with the base station.

    Abstract: In general, aspects disclosed herein provide techniques for processing video data. Certain aspects provide a method for processing video data comprising a plurality of frames for display on a display as discussed herein. The method includes determining a sampling rate (N) based on a frame rate used for displaying the video data on the display. The sampling rate N is greater than 1. The method further includes, for every N frames of the plurality of frames, processing one or more statistics associated with a frame determine one or more display settings. The method further includes outputting to the display the corresponding N frames of the plurality of frames using the one or more display settings.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatus for display processing. For example, disclosed techniques facilitate regional processing of images for under-display device displays. Aspects of the present disclosure can identify a subsection of a set of frame layers, the identified subsection corresponding to a lower pixel density region, relative to at least one other region, of a display. Aspects of the present disclosure can also blend first pixel data for each frame layer corresponding to the identified subsection to generate second pixel data. Further, aspects of the present disclosure can populate a buffer layer based on the second pixel data. Additionally, aspects of the present disclosure can blend pixel data from the set of frame layers and the buffer layers to generate a blended image. Aspects of the present disclosure can also transmit the blended image for presentment via the display.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for graphics processing, such as producing a smooth transition between images of different dynamic ranges (e.g., Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) images and High Dynamic Range (HDR) images). An example method generally includes using a high frame rate during a transition period to allow properties of images to incrementally vary. The properties may include brightness (i.e., luminance), color gamut, tone mapping, among others. For example, during the transition period, a subset of HDR images are displayed at a second frame rate (e.g., 120 Hz) higher than a frame rate based on the HDR images (e.g., 30 Hz). Simultaneously, a brightness level (as well as other aspects) of the display panel is adjusted incrementally from an SDR brightness level to an HDR brightness level during the transition time period over the subset of the HDR images.

The front camera may be positioned under the display panel and receive light through the cutout region. The mask layer may hide defects of the cutout region that does not have functional pixels.
