An example method generally includes performing partial sensing by monitoring for sidelink transmissions from one or more other UEs using one or more different beams during one or more different portions of a sensing window; and selecting resources, within a resource selection window, for future sidelink communications based on results of the partial sensing.

In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration indicating a channel quality threshold that the UE may use to identify an interference-based beam failure indicator type. The UE may receive a reference signal for performing one or more signal measurements in accordance with the configuration. Based on the one or more signal measurements and the channel quality threshold, the UE may report an indication of the type of beam failure indicator to the base station.

Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for providing hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for multiple physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions are described. One example technique involves receiving downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a plurality of downlink data transmissions across a plurality of slots. The plurality of downlink data transmissions are monitored across the plurality of slots. At least one HARQ feedback scheme for acknowledging the plurality of downlink data transmissions is determined. HARQ feedback for the plurality of downlink data transmissions is provided in accordance with the at least one HARQ feedback scheme.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) and a base station may support beamforming communication techniques and may communicate using one or more beams. The UE may support a bandwidth part (BWP) hopping pattern and may perform a beam failure detection (BFD) procedure across the supported BWPs. While performing the BFD procedure, the UE may declare beam failure and may determine whether to switch to an anchor BWP to initiate a beam failure recover (BFR) procedure or to remain on an active BWP to initiate the BFR procedure. In some implementations, the UE may determine whether to switch to the anchor BWP or to remain on the active BWP to initiate the BFR procedure based on an indication from the base station.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless communication. In one aspect, a method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station, a remaining minimum system information (RMSI) physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) that includes downlink control information (DCI). The DCI indicates a configuration of resources associated with RMSI repetition or RMSI slot aggregation. The method further includes monitoring for one or more RMSI messages based on the configuration of resources. The monitoring includes monitoring for multiple repetitions of an RMSI message based on the configuration of resources being associated with RMSI repetition and monitoring for a single RMSI message that is divided across multiple slots based on the configuration of resources being associated with RMSI slot aggregation. Other aspects are also claimed and described.

For example, a scheduling node may select from multiple candidates a signal for a first user equipment (UE) to use as a spatial QCL source for a receive (RX) or transmit (TX) beam to use for communicating with a second UE on a SL interface. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for detection of beam failure and beam failure recovery. A user equipment (UE) may perform measurements on one or more reference signals for one or more beams. In the event that one of the beams has a measurement that indicates a potential beam failure, the UE may increment a beam failure count (BFC) at a physical layer of the UE, and start a BFC timer. In the event that the BFC reaches a threshold value prior to expiration of the BFC timer, the UE may trigger a switch to a different active beam, provide a beam failure indication (BFI) to a higher layer of the UE, or both. A higher layer at the UE may autonomously adjust a BFI threshold for a number of BFIs that are needed to trigger a beam failure declaration to the base station.

An example apparatus receives information scheduling communication with a base station on a first set of resources in a first frequency range and on a second set of resources in a second frequency range. The example apparatus communicates with the base station on the first set of resources in the first frequency range using a first set of parameters applicable to the first frequency range. Further, the example apparatus communicates with the base station on the second set of resources in the second frequency range using a second set of parameters applicable to the second frequency range.
