    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to coordinated positioning via sidelink resource. A first terminal device transmits a first message to a plurality of positioning terminal devices including a second terminal device. The first message indicates sidelink resources for transmitting reference signals from the plurality of positioning terminal devices to the first terminal device. Upon receiving the first message, the second terminal device determines a first sidelink resource for transmitting a first reference signal for positioning the first terminal device from the sidelink resources, and then transmits the first reference signal via the first sidelink resource to the first terminal device. Through this solution, a sidelink-based positioning solution can be implemented. In particular, even in the scenario of being partial coverage or being out of coverage, where at least part of the devices involved in the positioning procedure cannot access the network device, the resource allocation for transmitting RSs can be implemented.

    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to transmission of control information associated with sidelink positioning reference signal. In an example method, a first terminal device in a radio access network comprises at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the first terminal device to: transmit, to a second terminal device in the radio access network, control information associated with a sidelink (SL) positioning reference signal (PRS) during a SL positioning session for positioning of the second terminal device, using a resource for the control information in a Physical Sidelink Feedback Channel (PSFCH) symbol or in at least one symbol dedicated for the control information. In this way, the first terminal device can efficiently transmit control information to the second terminal device with backward compatibility.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to communication in sidelink positioning. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a second device generates a second PRS for positioning of a first device by using a set of second devices including the second device and transmits the second PRS to the first device. The first device communicates with the set of second devices via a sidelink interface. The second PRS is at least transmitted over a bandwidth occupied by a second set of sidelink data channels from the set of second devices to the first device in a time slot. In this way, an improved transmission of PRS from a supporting device is achieved, and efficient and low latency sidelink based ranging/positioning is allowed.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for channel occupancy time (COT) sharing for sidelink (SL) in unlicensed spectrum are provided. One method may include, upon acquiring a COT, an initiating user equipment (UE) transmitting a first indication to one or more responding UEs. The first indication may include at least a duration of the channel occupancy time (COT) and/or configuration information for at least one second indication. The method may also include transmitting the at least one second indication to the one or more responding UEs prior to a SL transmission from the one or more responding UEs. The at least one second indication may include an indication of a listen before talk (LBT) type that the one or more responding UEs should apply for the SL transmission taking place within the COT duration and/or an indication of a new COT duration.

    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to adjustment of contention window (CW) for listen before talk (LBT). A device determines a target size of a contention window for listen before talk at least in part based on at least one of a first metric and a second metric. The first metric indicates a level of intra-system activity of one of the plurality of systems. The second metric indicates a level of inter-system activity of the plurality of systems. The at least one of first and second metrics are determined by the device based on one or more messages in a set of resources shared by a plurality of systems. This solution enables the device to adjust the LBT by determining the target size of the contention window. By doing so, the device may determine an appropriate size of the contention window even when HARQ feedback is not available. In this way, a system may be able to coexist fairly with other systems in unlicensed spectrum.
