    Abstract: A method and apparatus schedule uplink transmissions with reduced latency. A first transmission power of a first uplink transmission can be determined at a device based on a first set of higher layer configured power control parameters associated with a first TTI length. A higher layer can be higher than a physical layer. The first uplink transmission can span the first TTI length. The first TTI length can include a first number of symbols. A second transmission power of a second uplink transmission can be determined based on a second set of higher layer configured power control parameters associated with a second TTI length. The second uplink transmission can span the second TTI length. The second TTI length can include a second number of symbols. The second number can be different from the first number. The first uplink transmission can be transmitted in a subframe using the first transmission power. At least the second uplink transmission can be transmitted in the subframe using the second transmission power. The first uplink transmission and the second uplink transmission can overlap in time for at least one symbol duration.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus provide shortened PDCCH operation. At least one sPDCCH monitoring set including sPDCCH DL control candidates to be monitored by a device in a sTTI of the subframe can be determined. An sPDCCH belonging to one of the at least one sPDCCH monitoring set can be received. The sPDCCH can schedule DL data packet transmissions in a sPDSCH. The sPDCCH can also indicate a rate-matching indicator that indicates at least one OFDM symbol. A set of frequency resources can be determined. The sPDSCH can be decoded based on the sPDSCH being rate-matched at least around the set of frequency resources belonging to the at least one OFDM symbol indicated by the rate-matching indicator.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus reduce latency of Long Term Evolution (LTE) uplink transmissions. Configuration information regarding a downlink control information message for a physical uplink shared channel transmission can be transmitted. The downlink control information message can be sent on a physical downlink control channel in a first subframe to a user equipment. The downlink control information message can indicate a plurality of resource assignments in a second subframe for an uplink carrier from which the user equipment selects one resource assignment for transmission on the uplink carrier. The downlink control information message can be cyclic redundancy check scrambled by a radio network temporary identifier that is indicated via higher layers that are higher than a physical layer. A data packet can be received from the user equipment on the physical uplink shared channel in a resource of a selected resource assignment in the second subframe on the uplink carrier. The selected resource assignment can be selected from the plurality of resource assignments.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for scheduling of transmission time intervals. One apparatus includes a processor that determines a first semi-persistent scheduling resource assignment indicating a first set of resources including a first multiple time domain resources. Each time domain resource of the first multiple time domain resources has a first transmission time interval length. The processor also determines a second semi-persistent scheduling resource assignment indicating a second set of resources including a second multiple time domain resources. Each time domain resource of the second multiple time domain resources has a second transmission time interval length, and the first transmission time interval length is different from the second transmission time interval length. The apparatus includes a transmitter that transmits the first semi-persistent scheduling resource assignment using a first semi-persistent scheduling radio network identifier, and transmits the second semi-persistent scheduling resource assignment using a second semi-persistent scheduling radio network identifier.
