Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes: a first chassis; a second chassis; a hinge connecting the first chassis and the second chassis relatively rotatably; and a flat cable provided across the first chassis and the second chassis. In the first chassis, the flat cable forms: a first extending portion extending toward a first edge of the first chassis connected to the second chassis; a second extending portion extending from the first extending portion through a first curved portion toward a side opposite to the first edge; and a third extending portion extending from the second extending portion through a second curved portion toward the first edge. The second extending portion is fixed.

Abstract: A portable information device capable of supporting a display is described. The portable information device includes a first chassis member and a second chassis member connected mutually rotatable, a first support plate that supports a display on the side of the first chassis member, a second support plate that supports the display on the side of the second chassis member, a first locking member including a first fixing portion to be fixed to the rear face of the first support plate with adhesive, and a first locking piece projecting from one end face of the first support plate, the first locking piece being configured to come in contact with and separate from the rear face of the second support plate. The first support plate includes a first contact face with which the first locking member comes in contact and a first adhesive face that fixes the first locking member with the adhesive. The first adhesive face is recessed from the first contact face by a thickness of the adhesive.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a display device that can prevent deformation of a flexible display is provided. A raw material sheet that serves as a metal sheet of the flexible display has a width that is greater than a width of the display body in Y direction and a plurality of holes are provided in a bent area of the raw material sheet over an entire width along a bent section of the display body. The method includes: mounting the display body on the raw material sheet such that the bent section and the bent area are aligned and that the display body avoids the end portions in the Y direction; applying pressure to the display body from a central part of the display body toward a periphery of the display body; and cutting the raw material sheet into a predetermined size.
