Abstract: A method and low-cost/low-capability (LC) device are provided for performing a random access procedure in a wireless communication system. The LC device receives configuration information for a random access procedure from a base station. The configuration information includes resource information for transmitting a random access preamble, and the resource information is specific to the LC device. The LC device transmits, to a base station, a random access preamble on a random access resource determined based on the resource information. The LC device receives a random access response in response to the random access preamble. The random access resource is configured for each region of a coverage of the base station.

The method comprises the steps of: receiving data in a subframe n of a second serving cell; and transmitting an ACK/NACK signal for the data in a subframe n+kSCC(n) of a first serving cell connected to the subframe n of the second serving cell, wherein the first serving cell is a primary cell for the terminal to execute an initial connection establishment procedure or a connection reestablishment procedure, and uses a frequency division duplex (FDD) wireless frame, the second serving cell is a secondary cell allocated to the terminal in addition to the primary cell, and uses a time division duplex (TDD) wireless frame, and the kSCC(n) is a previously determined value.

Abstract: A method for uplink transmission in a wireless communication system. A user equipment (UE) determines whether to transmit or drop a sounding reference signal (SRS) on a last symbol in a ith subframe. The SRS is dropped if multiple timing advance groups (TAGs) are configured, if a portion of the last symbol of the ith subframe for transmitting the SRS toward a first serving cell in a first TAG is overlapped with an (i+1)th subframe for transmitting an uplink channel toward a second serving cell in a second TAG and if a total power of the SRS and the uplink channel exceeds a maximum value on the overlapped portion of the last symbol.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for configuring subframes in a wireless communication system. A user equipment (UE) receives an uplink-downlink configuration from a base station. The uplink-downlink configuration indicates each of a plurality of subframes in a frame to any one of a downlink subframe, a special subframe and an uplink subframe. The special subframe includes a downlink pilot time slot (DwPTS), a guard period (GP) and an uplink pilot time slot (UpPTS). The UE receives frame configuration information from the base station and configures each of the plurality of subframes in the frame to any one of a downlink subframe, a special subframe and an uplink subframe based on the uplink-downlink configuration and the frame configuration information. The UE communicates with the base station using the configured subframes.

Abstract: A method for transmitting information of resources for use in transmission of ACK/NACK signals in a mobile communication system is disclosed. An example method for receiving ACK/NACK signals in a mobile communication system is also disclosed. When resources for transmission of data and resources for transmission of control information of the data are scheduled through virtual unit resources, the method identifies information of resources for receiving an ACK/NACK signal for transmission data mapped to information of at least one of a virtual unit resource allocated to the transmission data and a virtual unit resource allocated to control information of the transmission data, and receives the ACK/NACK signal for the transmission data through the information of resources for receiving the ACK/NACK signal.
