    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a cell reselection in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system, the method comprises: receiving a connection release message from a network upon which the wireless device leaving a connected state; receiving a configuration of a threshold range from the network; receiving information for identities (IDs) of higher priority cells from the network; identifying a highest ranked cell among a plurality of neighbor cells based on a result of a measurement on the plurality of neighbor cells; identifying one or more neighbor cells among the plurality of neighbor cells whose ranking value is within the threshold range of a ranking value of the highest ranked cell; and performing a cell reselection to a cell among the one or more neighbor cells based on that an ID of the cell is included in the IDs of higher priority cells.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for managing measurement results for early measurement in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device receives, from a network, measurement configuration for early measurement, wherein the measurement configuration includes 1) a first frequency group for a first Radio Access Technology (RAT), and 2) a second frequency group for a second RAT. A wireless device transmits a measurement report including the measurements results of only one of the first frequency group and the second frequency group. A wireless device discards the stored measurement results of the other one of the first frequency group and the second frequency group which are not transmitted to the network.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a measurement handling in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system, the method comprises: receiving information for a validity timer from a network; starting the validity timer to be expired at a first expiration time point based on the information; while the validity timer is running, performing a measurement on one or more neighbor cells and performing cell reselections; determining a mobility state based on a number of the cell reselections; adjusting, based on the mobility state, the first expiration time point to a second expiration time point of the validity timer that is currently running; and stopping the measurement upon reaching the second expiration time point.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to performing measurement in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving, from a network, information for at least one of a first cell quality threshold or a second cell quality threshold, and information for at least one of a first triggering threshold or a second triggering threshold; identifying a representative cell of each of a plurality of frequencies for measurement; obtaining a representative cell quality for each of the plurality of frequencies based on a measurement on the representative cell of each of the plurality of frequencies; and performing a relaxed measurement on the plurality of frequencies based on a determination that a triggering condition for the relaxed measurement is satisfied, wherein the triggering condition comprises at least one of: a condition that a number of frequencies for which representative cell quality is higher than the first cell quality threshold among the plurality of frequencies is lower than the first triggering threshold; or a condition that a number of frequencies for which representative cell quality is lower than the second cell quality threshold among the plurality of frequencies is higher than the second triggering threshold.
