Abstract: An uplink communication method is disclosed, so that a network device can control an uplink communication latency, reliability, and uplink transmit power in an uplink grant free communication scenario. The method includes: obtaining, by a terminal device, a first control channel, where the first control channel carries a control information group, the control information group includes a plurality of pieces of control information, and the plurality of pieces of control information correspond to a plurality of uplink channels; obtaining, by the terminal device, first control information from the first control channel, where the first control information is control information corresponding to a first uplink channel in the plurality of uplink channels; and performing, by the terminal device, uplink communication with a network device based on the first control information.

Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method and apparatus. The method includes coding, by a terminal device, a first transport block to obtain a first coded transport block, where the first transport block includes first data; coding, by the terminal device, indication information to obtain coded indication information, where the indication information is used to indicate whether the terminal device sends a first buffer status report BSR when the terminal device sends the first data, and the first BSR indicates a data amount of to-be-transmitted data currently buffered in a buffer of the terminal device; and sending, by the terminal device, the first coded transport block and the coded indication information to a network device. According to the data transmission method and apparatus provided in embodiments of this application, the network device can directly learn whether the terminal device sends a BSR, so as to reduce a communication delay.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for transmitting uplink control information and an apparatus, applicable to a multi-carrier system. A user terminal receives physical layer signaling from a network device, where the physical layer signaling includes first indication information. The user terminal determines, according to the first indication information, a bit quantity of periodic CSI that can be sent on a channel resource or a piece quantity of periodic CSI that can be sent on a channel resource. The user terminal determines, according to the bit quantity or the piece quantity of the periodic CSI that can be sent, to-be-sent periodic CSI from periodic CSI corresponding to multiple downlink carriers. The user terminal sends HARQ-ACK information and the to-be-sent periodic CSI on the channel resource.

Abstract: In a method for receiving downlink control information, a terminal device sends first data to a network device in a first time unit, where the first data is uplink transmission without uplink grant signaling. The terminal device further receives downlink control information in a second time unit, where the downlink control information includes resource allocation information and a first radio network temporary identifier (RNTI). The terminal device determines, based on the first RNTI, that the downlink control information is for the uplink transmission without uplink grant signaling; and retransmits a part or all of the first data on a resource corresponding to the resource allocation information, or sends second data on a resource corresponding to the resource allocation information, where the second data and the first data are data of a same HARQ process.

Abstract: A terminal receives downlink scheduling information of a downlink subframe F(i, j), where a set M of preconfigured downlink subframes in which the downlink subframe F(i, j) is located is divided into N subsets of preconfigured downlink subframes, a bit quantity of a hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement HARQ-ACK that needs to be fed back for each downlink subframe in one subset of preconfigured downlink subframes is a predetermined value, and bit quantities of HARQ-ACKs that need to be fed back for any downlink subframes in different subsets of preconfigured downlink subframes are different. The terminal generates a HARQ-ACK codebook according to a receiving status of downlink data. And the terminal generates uplink control information after encoding the HARQ-ACK codebook; and a sending module sends the uplink control information.

Abstract: A DCI sending method and an apparatus are provided. A base station determines a first channel resource, where the first channel resource is located in the ith time unit of a subframe in a time domain, the subframe includes NT time units, NT is an integer greater than or equal to 2, and i is a positive integer less than or equal to NT; and the base station sends DCI to a terminal device on the first channel resource. In this solution, the first channel resource that carries the DCI is located in the ith time unit of the subframe in the time domain, where i is a positive integer less than or equal to NT. That is, there is a first channel resource in each time unit of the subframe. Therefore, when data needs to be transmitted in any time unit, the data can be transmitted immediately.

Abstract: This application discloses an uplink control information transmission method and related apparatus, to resolve a prior-art problem that joint coding and transmission cannot be performed in a scenario in which PUCCH resources of SRs are not aligned with a PUCCH resource of a HARQ/CSI in time domain. The method comprises: determining a PUCCH, wherein the first PUCCH carries first uplink control information (UCI), and the first UCI comprises HARQ information or CSI; determining a second PUCCH, wherein the second PUCCH carries second UCI, wherein a time domain position of the second PUCCH overlaps a time domain position of the first PUCCH, and the second UCI comprises a SR; and when the second UCI meets a condition, only sending the second UCI on the second PUCCH.
