Abstract: This application provides a channel quality information reporting method, a terminal device, and a network device. The reporting method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, a first reference signal and a second reference signal that are sent by a network device; receiving, by the terminal device, first indication information sent by the network device, where the first indication information includes a quasi co-location (QCL) assumption relationship between the second reference signal and the first reference signal; and reporting, by the terminal device, second channel quality information to the network device based on the QCL assumption relationship, where the second channel quality information is channel quality information for the second reference signal. According to this application, resource overheads for reporting channel quality information can be reduced.

Abstract: This application provides a method for sending channel state information and a related device. The method includes: receiving L reference signals, where L is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1; and sending channel state information, where the channel state information includes resource indexes of M reference signals in the L reference signals, K pieces of antenna panel state information, and M sets of channel quality information, where the K pieces of antenna panel state information indicate states of antenna panels; the K pieces of antenna panel state information are related to M sets of channel quality information; and the M sets of channel quality information are in a one-to-one correspondence with the resource indexes of the M reference signals. In this way, implementation complexity of obtaining the channel quality information by the network device can be reduced, and load of the network device can be reduced.

Abstract: This application provides a link failure recovery method and apparatus. A terminal may send first request information to a network device on a same resource (namely, a first resource) when detecting that a link of any one of a plurality of cells fails or links of any more than one of the plurality of cells fail, to notify the network device that a link of at least one of the L cells fails. In this way, in a multi-carrier scenario, compared with resource overheads in a solution in which when a link of each cell fails, one resource is occupied to send one piece of request information, resource overheads are reduced in embodiments of this application.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose an information transmission method, a related device, and a system. The method includes: determining, by a terminal device at a moment n, that a communication failure occurs on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) on a first control resource set; and if the terminal device detects, within a first time period after the moment n, that channel quality of the PDCCH on the first control resource set meets a first preset condition, canceling, by the terminal device, sending of communication failure recovery request information, and/or stopping, by the terminal device, timing of a communication failure recovery clock. In the embodiments of the present invention, a communication link can be rapidly recovered after a communication failure occurs.
