    Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention relates to a network node and a user device. The network node comprising: a processor configured to: generate a check element for each user device in a group of user devices; a transmitter configured to: transmit the control information message to the group of user devices. The user device comprising: a receiver configured to: receive a control information message addressed for a group of user devices; a processor configured to: perform a redundancy check on the control information message; derive the control information from the control information message and discard check elements of other user devices upon a positive redundancy check; communicate in the wireless communication system based on the derived control information. Furthermore, the present invention also relates to corresponding methods, a computer program, and a computer program product.

    Abstract: A transmitting device is described for a communication system. The transmitting device obtains an information message comprising information bits addressed for a receiving device and encodes the information message to obtain a codeword. The transmitting device rate-matches the codeword to produce a rate-matched codeword comprising systematic bits and parity-check bits. Furthermore, the transmitting device jointly interleaves the systematic bits and parity-check bits of the rate-matched codeword to obtain an interleaved codeword. The systematic bits of the interleaved codeword are mapped to modulation label positions of a modulation constellation with first reliabilities, and the parity-check bits of the interleaved codeword are mapped to modulation label positions of the modulation constellation with second reliabilities.

    Abstract: The present patent application relates to a transmission method and corresponding receiving methods. The transmission method comprises: selecting K number of data streams for transmission, wherein each data stream comprises one or more data messages; and independently for each data stream k=0, . . . , K−1: encoding and modulating data messages of the kth data stream using a Trellis Coded Modulation, TCM, scheme TCMk, interleaving the encoded and modulated data messages of the k-th data stream by using a stream specific interleaver Πk, scrambling the interleaved data messages of the k-th data stream by using a stream specific scrambling sequence; combining all scrambled data messages of the K number of data streams into at least one transmission signal s(l); and transmitting the at least one transmission signal s(l) over a radio channel of the wireless communication system.
