Abstract: This application provides example communication methods, terminal devices, and network devices. One example method includes configuring, by a network device, a first bandwidth part BP and a second BP for a terminal device. The network device then sends a first TB to the terminal device. When the first BP and the second BP correspond to a same physical parameter, the first TB is mapped onto the first BP and the second BP. When the first BP and the second BP correspond to different physical parameters, the network device further sends a second TB to the terminal device, where the first TB is mapped onto the first BP, and the second TB is mapped onto the second BP.

Abstract: This application provides a positioning method and an apparatus. The method includes: A location management device provides assistance information for a terminal device, where the assistance information includes information about one or more cells used for positioning of the terminal device and reference signal configuration information of each of the one or more cells. The location management device provides a first request message for the terminal device, where the first request message includes measurement reporting configuration information. The location management device receives a reference signal measurement result of each of the one or more cells from the terminal device, where the reference signal measurement result is obtained based on the measurement reporting configuration information. The location management device obtains a DAOD of the terminal device relative to each of the one or more cells based on the reference signal measurement result.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a data transmission method, a network device, and a terminal device. The method may include detecting, by a network device, a first signal in an uplink signal. The method may also include determining, by the network device, a signal structure of the uplink signal based on a result of detecting the first signal. Furthermore, the method may include receiving, by the network device, the uplink signal based on the signal structure, and/or responding to the uplink signal based on the signal structure. According to the data transmission method in the embodiments of this application, before receiving data, the network device can determine the signal structure, used by the terminal device, of the uplink signal, and then use a corresponding receiving method to avoid complexity and a reliability risk that are caused by completely blind detection performed by the network device, as well as to effectively reduce a delay and signaling overheads.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a method, an apparatus, and a system for positioning a terminal device. Location measurement data for a to-be-positioned terminal device is obtained by a terminal-side measurement function entity and/or an access-side measurement function entity, where the location measurement data includes a channel estimation and/or a channel impulse response that are/is obtained based on a corresponding downlink/uplink reference signal. The terminal-side measurement function entity and/or the access-side measurement function entity report/reports the location measurement data to a positioning service function entity in a network, so that the positioning function entity can estimate a location of the terminal device based on the location measurement data, thereby positioning the terminal device and improving positioning accuracy. This technical solution can be applied to both a single-base-station-based positioning environment and a multi-base-station-based positioning environment, to position the terminal device.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for aligning antenna beams in a high-low frequency co-site network, where the method includes performing antenna alignment of a low frequency beam with a communications device in order to establish a low frequency channel, and performing high frequency beam alignment of a high frequency antenna with the communications device using the low frequency channel. In the method, high frequency beam alignment of a high frequency antenna is performed using an established low frequency channel. Therefore, a technical problem that a high frequency beam alignment time of a high frequency antenna is long due to a narrow field of view of a high frequency beam can be avoided in order to quickly implement high frequency beam alignment of a high frequency antenna.
