    Abstract: In an embodiment, a user equipment (UE) receives, from an access node (AN), downlink control information (DCI) triggering a transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS) of a SRS resource set. The DCI indicates a time-domain resource in available time-domain resources for transmitting the SRS resource set. The UE determines a position of the time-domain resource in the available time-domain resources based on the DCI, and transmits the SRS in accordance with the position of the time-domain resource. In another embodiment, a UE receives control information indicating a frequency resource in a carrier for transmission of one or more SRSs. The UE determines, based thereon, to segment the frequency resource into segments that each includes contiguous physical resource blocks (PRBs), and transmits a SRS in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol on a first segment and not on a second segment.

    Abstract: Example wireless communication methods and apparatus are described. One example includes receiving first configuration information of a bandwidth part (BWP) in a carrier for a serving cell by a user equipment (UE). The first configuration information includes a first group of parameters and a first resource group (RG) on the BWP in the carrier for the serving cell. The UE receives second configuration information of the BWP in the carrier, where the second configuration information includes a second group of parameters and a second RG on the BWP in the carrier. Transmission or reception associated with the first RG is performed based on the first group of parameters. Transmission or reception associated with the second RG is performed based on the second group of parameters.

    Abstract: According to embodiments, a UE receives, from a network device, a configuration of a sounding reference signals (SRS) resource with 8 antenna ports, a transmission comb configuration for the SRS resource, and a cyclic shift (CS) configuration for the SRS resource. The transmission comb configuration indicates a comb value K. K is one of 2, 4, or 8. The transmission comb configuration further indicates a configured comb offset (k). k is an integer between 0 and K−1. The CS configuration indicates CS positions. The UE maps each port of the 8 antenna ports to corresponding resource elements (REs) in the frequency domain and a corresponding CS. The corresponding REs are a subset of a plurality of REs and on every K-th RE with an offset based on the configured comb offset (k) within an SRS transmission bandwidth. The UE transmits SRSs using the 8 antenna ports based on the mapping.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage media are provided. An example method includes determining R demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports for a transmission. R is greater than or equal to 2. The method includes determining N sets of one or more time-frequency domain resources for the transmission. N is greater than or equal to 1. The method includes determining RxN resource units on the R DMRS ports and the N sets of one or more time-frequency domain resources. RxN is greater than or equal to 3. The method includes mapping S complex-valued modulation symbols to the RxN resource units. The mapping is based on certain properties. The method includes transmitting, to an apparatus, the S complex-valued modulation symbols over the RxN resource units on the N sets of time-frequency domain resources based on the mapping and using the R DMRS ports.
