Abstract:
An arrangement for transmitting and/or receiving an ultrasonic, wanted signal in a measured medium, comprising a vibration decoupling element for securing at least one ultrasonic transducer in a containment, characterized in that the vibration decoupling element has a platform for securing the vibration decoupling element to a sensor nozzle or to the containment and a second interface for securing an ultrasonic transducer. Between the second interface and the platform a vibration decoupling structural element is arranged, which structural element is embodied as a solid body, which has one or more interfaces with other elements of the vibration decoupling element, especially with the second interface for securing the ultrasonic transducer and/or the platform, and wherein the structural element (11, 39, 55, 75) has an as much as possible spherical-, ellipsoidal-, toroidal- or polyhedral shape.
Abstract:
An ultrasound instrument for detecting a measured value of a medium includes a measurement chamber having a chamber wall and a longitudinal axis; a pair of ultrasound transducers configured to transmit ultrasound signals along a signal path between ultrasound transducers of the pair through the measurement chamber and to receive ultrasound signals, wherein the signal path includes a signal reflection on a reflection surface, wherein the chamber wall in a region of the reflection surface opposite a first chamber side is configured to prevent a reflection of an ultrasound signal on a chamber outer surface of the chamber wall in the direction of the signal path, wherein the chamber wall has, in the region of the reflection surface, a maximum wall thickness which is at least a factor of 1.5 greater than a Rayleigh wavelength, associated with a central frequency, of the ultrasound signal in the chamber wall.
Abstract:
The present disclosure describes an ultrasonic flowmeter including: a measuring tube with a measuring tube wall and at least one pair of housings extending to an outer side of the measuring tube wall; a pair of ultrasonic transducers, each with a transducing element for generating and/or sensing ultrasonic pulses and a transducer body, wherein each of the housings is arranged to house one of the transducers, and wherein the housings have an inner first diameter; wherein transducer body includes a circumferential surface, and wherein the transducer body includes an end face, wherein the end face has a second diameter, and wherein the transducer includes at least one first protrusion protruding from the circumferential surface into a gap between the transducer body and the housing.

Abstract:
A measuring tube for a flow measuring device, wherein the measuring tube has a measuring tube axis A and a measuring tube wall. The measuring tube has a branch with a branch axis B and a wall of the branch, wherein the wall of the branch is arranged on the measuring tube wall, and the wall of the branch is connected with the measuring tube wall by a welded joint. In the transitional region between the wall of the branch and the measuring tube wall there is a specially embodied thickening of the material, which is either part of the wall of the branch or part of the measuring tube wall.
