Abstract:
Disclosed is a communication method using interference alignment in a wireless local area network (WLAN). An access point (AP) according to one embodiment may receive first channel information between a station associated with the AP and the AP and second channel information between the station and a neighboring AP to perform interference alignment in cooperation with the AP from the station, and perform interference alignment based on the first channel information and the second channel information.
Abstract:
Provided is slot use control apparatus and method, including an access point (AP) to control a slotted channel access of a station (STA) in a wireless local area network (WLAN) includes generating a synchronization (synch) frame including an identification value indicating an STA allocated to a slot, and broadcasting the generated synch frame when a channel is in an idle state at a start point of the slot.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a protocol for transmitting data through cooperation between access points in an overlapped basic service set (OBSS) environment. A cooperative beamforming communication method may include negotiating, by a first access point, a cooperative transmit beamforming with a second access point having an OBSS area with the first access point; transmitting, by the first access point, a clear-to-send (CTS) to the second access point; and performing, by the first access point, the cooperative transmit beamforming with the second access point during a cooperative transmit beamforming duration determined through the negotiation after a predetermined time interval is elapsed, when transmission of the CTS is completed.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a frame transmission method and a communication device performing the same. The communication device may transmit a null data packet (NDP)-announcement (NDP-A) including information on a plurality of communication devices participating in interference alignment and transmit an NDP including a common signal field and a common training field commonly applied to the plurality of communication devices.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a wireless communication method, and an access point and a station which perform the wireless communication method. A wireless communication method performed by an access point according to an embodiment may include performing channel sounding on a plurality of subchannels, identifying subchannels selected by stations among the subchannels, scheduling communications between the AP and the stations based on the selected subchannels, and transmitting a data frame to the stations through the subchannels based on a scheduling result.
Abstract:
An operating method of an access point (AP) and an operating method of a relay are disclosed in which the AP may determine whether to associate with the relay based on at least one of first information indicating whether use of an overlapping channel is restricted, second information indicating whether an operation using a non-overlapping channel is supported by the relay, and third information indicating whether use of a channel identical to a channel used by the AP is requested.
Abstract:
A scanning method in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system is provided. The scanning method includes transmitting, by a station, a probe request frame and receiving, by the station, a probe response frame from an access point (AP). The AP determines whether to transmit the probe response frame in response to the probe request frame using information indicated by the probe request frame.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method of controlling slot-based channel access by an access point (AP) to manage a network in a wireless local area network (WLAN) environment and a slot-based channel access terminal are disclosed. A slot-based channel access control apparatus of a WLAN system according to an exemplary embodiment determines one of each terminal and a group of terminals as a slot allocation target, allocates a slot defined in a beacon interval to the determined terminal or group to distinguish channel access time, and transmits a beacon including information on the allocated slot.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for opportunistic interference alignment (OIA) in multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) transmission, the method including broadcasting a random beam, receiving, from a terminal, feedback information determined based on the random beam, selecting at least one terminal to which data is to be transmitted from among terminals based on the feedback information, adjusting a transmission power based on the feedback information, and transmitting data to the selected at least one terminal based on the adjusted transmission power.
