摘要: An apparatus and method for dynamically allocating resources across multiple virtual machines. The method monitors the activities of the applications in each virtual machine running on a hosting server, determines the activities of the applications in each virtual machine based on the activities of the monitored applications, prioritizes each virtual machine based on the determined priorities of the applications in each virtual machine, and dynamically adjusts the resource allocation of each virtual machine on the hosting server based on the priority of each virtual machine. The resources of the hosting server can be dynamically allocated to each virtual machine according to the real-time resource requirement of the active applications, and the applications of different virtual machines can negotiate the resource allocation on the hosting server.

摘要: A method and a computer system for making a computer achieve high availability. The method includes running a host virtual machine on a host virtual machine container; running a servant virtual machine on the servant virtual machine container; and synchronizing the host virtual machine and the servant virtual machine by using an I/O instruction. The system includes at least two computers including a host computer and a servant computer, each computer including a virtual machine container; a virtual machine running on the virtual machine container; and a communication channel making the virtual machine container execute a virtual machine synchronization operation. The virtual machine synchronization operation of the virtual machine container is triggered by the virtual machine executing I/O instructions.

摘要: A method and a system for processing an HTTP request. There is provided a method for processing an HTTP request, including: receiving an original HTTP request for accessing an instance of an application; modifying a domain name to be accessed; and sending the new HTTP request to a server of the application so as to access the instance of the application, wherein the domain name to be accessed by the original HTTP request and the new domain name correspond to a same IP address. This avoids various problems such as data confusion, data error, and use inconvenience in the related art occurring when a plurality of service instances of a same application run in a same hypertext transfer protocol session. A system for carrying out the above method is also provided.

摘要: A watermark embedding method for embedding a secret message sequence in a document. The techniques include obtaining layout information of the document, extracting a digest of the document by using a Hash function, calculating embedded positions where the secret message sequence is embedded in the document, and dispersedly hiding the secret message sequence in each of the calculated embedded positions by altering the layout of the document. Also provided is a watermark embedding apparatus, a corresponding watermark detecting method and apparatus, and a method and system for detecting document integrity. The integrity of documents in various forms can be detected, and secret information to be hidden can be embedded therein and extracted therefrom. The techniques described are not limited to the document either in soft copy or in hard copy and have good robustness.

摘要: A disk image is generated, stored in at least one persistent storage device, comprises at least one software application, and is a root disk image. An inheritance tree comprising a root node associated with the root disk image is created. A new disk image of a disk is generated based on a previously generated disk image associated with a node of the inheritance tree. The new disk image is stored in at least one persistent storage device, and comprises at least one software application of the previously generated disk image and at least one new software application. The new disk image shares at least one data block of the previously generated disk image. A new node is added to the inheritance tree, and is associated with the new disk image. The new node is a child node of the node that is associated with the previously generated disk image.

摘要: A method, apparatus, system, and computer readable medium for authenticating the identity of a caller. An authentication device authenticates a caller's identity based on received information of the caller and an identifier generation device generates an identifier containing the caller's identity. The authentication information is supplied to a mobile telephone user acting as a callee. Therefore, the callee knows the caller's identity, thereby providing a secure delivering channel.

摘要: A method for determining travel time of a vehicle on a road, wherein the vehicle is operable within a mobile communication network, comprising: collecting historical communication events of a mobile user in order to obtain travel samples, wherein the historical communication events indicate when the mobile user travelled along a monitored road; determining a cell handover sequence from the historical communication events; determining from the cell handover sequence, one of more road segments of the monitored road; determining the travel time of the one or more road segments according to the travel time samples; selecting, for an undetermined road segment of the monitored road for which the real-time travel time is not determined from the collected historical communication events, a candidate mobile user that is most likely to appear on the undetermined road segment; actively positioning the candidate mobile user to obtain positioning information; and returning to the step of collecting communication events of a mobile user currently on a monitored road with the active positioning as one communication event for the candidate mobile user, to determine the real-time travel time of the undetermined road segment.
