Abstract:
A pixel arrangement structure for a display device. The pixel arrangement structure may comprise a first pixel and a second pixel. The first pixel and the second pixel are alternately in a row direction and a column direction. The first pixel and the second pixel each comprise a first sub-pixel, a second sub-pixel, and a third sub-pixel. The first sub-pixel, the second sub-pixel, and the third sub-pixel in the first pixel form a triangular distribution. The first sub-pixel, the second sub-pixel, and the third sub-pixel in the second pixel form an inverted triangular distribution relative to the triangular distribution in the first pixel. The second sub-pixel and the third sub-pixel in each of the first pixel and the second pixel are located on substantially the same row.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a structure of pixel arrangement and a display device. The structure of pixel arrangement includes a first sub-pixel, and second sub-pixels and third sub-pixels that are provided surrounding the first sub-pixel, the first sub-pixel, portions of the second sub-pixels and portions of the third sub-pixels constituting a virtual rhombus, wherein a center of the first sub-pixel coincides with a center of the virtual rhombus; a center of the second sub-pixel coincides with a first vertex of the virtual rhombus; and a center of the third sub-pixel coincides with a second vertex of the virtual rhombus. Compared with the prior art, the number of sub-pixels required to achieve high resolution display in the present invention is smaller, so that the number of the sub-pixels is decreased.
Abstract:
A display panel includes pixels arranged in an array in a first direction and a second direction. Each pixel includes a first sub-pixel having a first light-emitting zone to emit light of a first color, a second sub-pixel having a second light-emitting zone to emit light of a second color, and a third sub-pixel having a third light-emitting zone to emit light of a third color. The first, second, and third light-emitting zones are arranged in a triangle such that the first, second, and third light-emitting zones cover respective vertices of the triangle, with one side of the triangle being substantially parallel to the first direction. Any two pixels directly adjacent in the first direction have respective patterns of first, second, and third light-emitting zones, which are substantially mirror-symmetrical to each other. Any two diagonally adjacent pixels have a substantially repeating pattern of first, second and third light-emitting zones.
Abstract:
A display substrate, a driving method thereof and a display device are disclosed. The display substrate includes repeatedly arranged pixel groups. Each pixel group includes a first sub-pixel group, a second sub-pixel group, a third sub-pixel group and a fourth sub-pixel group. Each of the first sub-pixel group, the second sub-pixel group, the third sub-pixel group and the fourth sub-pixel group includes four pixel columns. The display substrate, the driving method thereof and the display device reduce the number of sub-pixels in the whole display device and hence reduce the difficulty in the manufacturing process of the display device and the cost on the premise of ensuring that the display device obtains a high resolution.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a display method and a display device. The display method includes steps of: S1, obtaining an original image that needs to be displayed; S2, generating a plurality of first images each having the same boundary as the original image according to the information contained in the original image, wherein each first image includes at least partial information of the original image, and union of information contained in the plurality of first images includes all information contained in the original image; and S3, displaying, in the form of continuous multi-frame images, all first images in sequence within visual persistence time of human eyes. The above method can improve the display effect of the display device.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a display substrate and a method for driving the same, and a display apparatus. The display substrate comprises pixel groups repeatedly arranged, each of the pixel groups comprises two first sub-pixels, eight second sub-pixels and two third sub-pixels, and each of the pixel groups comprises four pixel columns, two first sub-pixels are sequentially arranged in a first pixel column of each of the pixel groups and two third sub-pixels are sequentially arranged in a third pixel column of each of the pixel groups, wherein, each of the first sub-pixels is disposed so as to correspond to two second sub-pixels in a pixel column adjacent thereto, and each of the third sub-pixels is disposed so as to correspond to two second sub-pixels in a pixel column adjacent thereto.
Abstract:
A display substrate and a driving method thereof as well as a display apparatus. The display substrate comprises pixel groups which are arranged repeatedly, each pixel group comprising a first sub-pixel group and a second sub-pixel group, each comprising four pixel columns. The present invention reduces the number of sub-pixels in the whole display apparatus. Therefore, on a premise of ensuring that the display apparatus achieves a relatively high resolution, the fabrication difficulty of the display apparatus is reduced, and the cost is lowered.
