    Abstract: A backlight module and a display apparatus are provided. The backlight module includes a backplane including a bottom wall and a side wall connected to define an accommodating portion; a light guide plate in the accommodating portion; an optical film on a side of the light guide plate away from the bottom wall; and a plastic frame including a retaining wall and a bearing portion, the retaining wall is arranged side by side with the side wall on a side of the side wall away from the light guide plate; the bearing portion is connected to the retaining wall on a side of the side wall and the optical film away from the bottom wall; the bearing portion includes a first surface away from the side wall and opposite to the retaining wall; at least a portion of the first surface protrudes towards a side close to the retaining wall.

    Abstract: A plastic frame includes a first frame having a first frame surface and a first end portion and a second end portion opposite to each other, and a second frame having a second frame surface, an end portion of the second frame being connected to the first end portion of the first frame. The first frame surface and the second frame surface are located on the same side of the plastic frame. A first height difference between the first frame surface at a first end portion of the first frame and the second frame surface is smaller than a height difference between the first frame surface at a middle portion of the first frame and the second frame surface. The first height difference may be, for example, 0.1-0.3 mm.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a backlight module and a display device. The backlight module includes a light source and a light guide plate, the light source provided on at least one side of the light guide plate, wherein a side of the light guide plate facing the light source includes a light receiving surface facing the light source and a light reflecting surface above the light receiving surface, wherein an angle formed by the light receiving surface and the light reflecting surface in a direction toward inside of the light guide plate is an obtuse angle. According to the backlight module and the display device provided by the present disclosure, light waste may be reduced and the utilization ratio of light energy may be improved.
