Abstract:
A roller blind for covering openings to refrigeration units, windows, and sliding roofs for vehicles is provided in which the roller blind web defines a tubular pocket along respective longitudinal sides of the web. Opposing guide members are positioned on opposite sides of the roller blind web and retain therein the respective tubular pockets. Optionally, the tubular pockets may extend in both the warp and weft direction and additional interior pockets may be provided along the web.
Abstract:
A tool holding device for persons with limited hand mobility has complementary tool handles and socket of cylindrical or conical form. The socket is integral with a rotatable part and may have an upper open section above the socket diameter permitting tools to be snapped into rotatable relationship with the socket. The rotatable base for the socket is surrounded by an annular fixed housing, and housing and socket base have complementary facing O-ring grooves above which the housing has a locating flange turned inward over the rotatable socket base. The O-ring locates the parts and provides frictional holding force while allowing snap-out snap-in disassembly for cleaning. A strap through the fixed rim retains the parts in assembly and has hook and loop or other easily fastened fasteners for securing the unit to the hand or other limb of the user.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a roller-screen arrangement having covering roller screens which are arranged axially one beside the other and can be jointly rolled up onto, and unrolled from, a winding roller, wherein the free ends of the covering roller screens are oriented in opposite directions. The covering roller screens can thus be jointly rolled up onto, and unrolled from, the winding roller, wherein furthermore, in the unrolled state, a distance A is formed between the covering roller screens. A cavity is created between the covering roller screens, and at least one intermediate roller screen is provided in this cavity in order to cover gaps between the covering roller stir screens arranged axially one beside the other. When the covering roller screens are opened and closed, the intermediate roller screens are taken up and let down and picked up again in accordance with the shortening and lengthening of the covering roller screens.
Abstract:
A door for merchandise display cabinets that show refrigerated or frozen merchandise, features a vertical opening for accessing the merchandise space, is subdivided into compartments arranged vertically on top of each other, and its front part that is accessible by the customer can be closed with transparent doors and be moved horizontally. These doors have been executed as frameless insulating glass planes on which swivel bolts have been directly arranged on the insulating glass pane.

Abstract:
A process for producing roller blinds includes defining a plurality of shapes for the completed roller blind in a continuous material band. The band has a uniform width and edges of the roller blind are defined between the longitudinal edges of the material band. Separating strips are defined in the material band between adjacent edges of the devices. The individual devices are removed from the continuous material band by separating the material band along the separating strips.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting equipment-specifying program parameter data from a communications installation to communications terminal equipment. The method provides for transmitting program parameter data from a communications installation to a plurality of communications terminal equipment connected thereto and is based on a message-oriented transmission protocol that is used in the sense of an information exchange in the signalling channel between the equipment. In the communications equipment, the input and output devices as well as the procedures of performance features and local performance features are essentially controlled with the assistance of the program parameter data. A transmission of program parameter data is initiated either by a parameter request message transmitted from the communications terminal equipment or by an internal request of the communications installation. In a start of parameter message, address and parameter defining criteria are transmitted from the communications installation to the respective communications terminal equipment. Subsequently, the program parameter data embedded into a parameter message are transmitted to the respective communications terminal equipment and are stored in them.
Abstract:
The reading times for a designational reading of information communicated via an ISDN-oriented interface are formed for a recording device and transmitted thereto with the assistance of a circuit arrangement, being formed from bit clock signals and bit group clock signals, which define the boundaries of the bit groups comprising 32 bits, that are present in an ISDN-oriented interface. The reading times present in the form of bit clock pulses inform the recording device of the times at which the information are to be read and subsequently stored. The circuit arrangement contains a shift register that is formed by a plurality of registers corresponding in number to the plurality of bits of a bit group, a reset device that is realized, for example, by an inverter and a switch, and also contains an AND gate and a plurality of switch devices whose setting determines which information are, respectively, bits of a bit group are to be read and stored.
Abstract:
The zirconium cladding of a coolant-displacement rod of a nuclear reactor is precollapsed in the zirconium oxide stack of pellets which supports the cladding. Current is conducted through the cladding in an atmosphere at reduced pressure containing residual oxygen, to heat the cladding to a temperature at which its yield strength is reduced. Then, while the rod remains at this temperature, it is subjected to isostatic pressure which collapses the cladding uniformly. The formation, by reason of exposure to neutron flux, of a long unsupported gap in the cladding which might be collapsed under the pressure of the coolant is precluded. In addition, the rod retains its symmetry. The outer surface of the cladding is oxidized, facilitating the movement of the rod into its thimbles of the core and improving the resistances of the cladding to reaction with the coolant.
