摘要: The invention relates to a method for determining a working depth of a tool. The method includes arranging a tool and a depth determination device on a depth setting device; and applying a predetermined compression force in axial direction to the depth determination device, such that at least a part of the depth determination device is elastically compressed by a certain compression amount against a contact surface, obtaining a compressed state of the depth determination device. The method further includes securing a mounting device to a clamping region of a shaft of the tool in the compressed state of the depth determination device such that the mounting device is firmly mounted to the clamping region, whereby a tool assembly is formed; releasing the compression force from the depth determination device, and removing the tool assembly from the depth setting device.

It is provided that a value of the negative rake angle in the region of the first cutting edge end has a different value than in the region of the second cutting edge end, that the first clearance angle in the region of the first cutting edge end has a different value than in the region of the second cutting edge end, and that the wedge angle along the cutting edge profile is constant.

The guiding device of the tool has a single guiding element and/or a single guiding receptacle, and the guiding element has an elongated elevation and the guiding receptacle has an elongated recess.

摘要: A drill bit has a tool shank, a center axis, a first cutting region with at least one geometrically defined first cutting edge, the same having a cutting face arranged at a radial distance from the center axis of the drill bit. The first cutting edge forms a countersink angle with the center axis. The drill bit having a chip shaping stage functionally assigned to the first cutting edge formed by the cutting face of the first cutting edge and by a shoulder surface adjoining the cutting face and forming a shoulder angle with the same, wherein the shoulder angle is greater than 90°, and preferably greater than 100°. The cutting face runs at a radial rake angle with respect to an imaginary radial line which cuts the first cutting edge, the same functionally assigned to the cutting face. The radial rake angle is positive.

摘要: An expansion clamping device includes a base body and an expansion socket. The expansion socket is inserted into the base body to form a pressure chamber. The pressure chamber can be applied with a hydraulic medium while elastically deforming the expansion socket, in order to achieve a clamping effect in a receiving space which is open in the axial direction of the base body towards a face side and is surrounded by the expansion socket in the circumferential direction. The expansion socket has an elastically deformable clamping section and a collar projecting outwardly in the radial direction on the face side. The expansion socket bears with a bearing surface of the collar in the axial direction against a contact surface of a contact shoulder of the base body and, at least in the region of the bearing surface, is firmly connected, in particular by a material bond, to the base body. The clamping section transitions into the collar in a transition region, a recess being formed in the expansion socket in the transition region in such a way that the transition region overlaps over the contact shoulder of the base body in regions, the bearing surface of the expansion socket bearing against the contact surface in a radially outer contact region thereof, and the contact surface having a radially inner free region adjacent to the contact region, in which free region the expansion socket does not bear against the contact surface.
