Abstract:
An identification plate for a pallet container includes a plate body for placement upon a lattice frame of a pallet container. The plate body has an upper edge, which is bent rearwards at a first angle for attachment to an upper horizontal rod of the lattice frame, a lower edge, which is bent rearwards at the first angle for attachment to a lower horizontal rod of the lattice frame, and opposite lateral edges extending between the upper and lower edges and bent rearwards at a second angle which is greater than the first angle. Each of the lateral edges ends at its rear in a rolled edge and is formed with terminal recesses for receiving the upper and lower horizontal rods. The rolled edge is hereby sized to project with its ends in a rod-like manner into the recesses to engage behind the upper and lower horizontal rods.
Abstract:
In a rigid thin-walled inner receptacle from thermoplastic material for storage and transport of fluid or free-flowing loads, with a cage of crossed hollow bars closely surrounding the plastic receptacle as a support jacket and a bottom pallet which supports the receptacle and on which the support jacket is firmly attached, the crossed vertically and horizontally extending hollow bars which are welded to each other at welding points and configured such that they are free of any dimples in their contact area at a point of intersection, and each of the hollow bars are provided laterally next to the point of intersection with at least one dimple laterally and at a distance from the point of intersection respectively the welding point.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to a pallet container assembly with a thin-walled rigid inner container of thermoplastic material for the storage and transport of liquid or flowable contents, including a cage-like bar frame closely surrounding as support jacket the inner plastic container, and a bottom pallet for placement of the inner plastic container and secure attachment of the support jacket, wherein there are provided, within the support area of the inner plastic container on the surface of the bottom pallet optionally on the surface of an intermediate plate, respective means (form-fitting means/frictional connection means) which—as viewed in the direction of the horizontal plane—result in a substantial increase of the slip resistance between the downwardly pointing outer surface of the bottom pallet or the intermediate plate.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a pallet container with a thin-walled inner receptacle preferably made from thermoplastic material for the storage and transport of liquid or free-flowing goods, wherein the plastic container is closely surrounded by an outer cage jacket of crossed hollow bars which are configured with dimples by means of which bending points in the cage jacket are established so that when the pallet container is subjected to drops from certain heights, the cage jacket incurs a plastic deformation, thereby preventing fracturing or tearing of the hollow bars from the cage jacket.
Abstract:
The invention refers to a pallet container (10) including a bottom pallet (12), a plastic receptacle (14) arranged thereon and a support jacket (16) closely surrounding the plastic receptacle (14) and fixedly connected (but detachably) on the bottom side with the bottom pallet (12). Conventionally, the thickened pinch-off seam produced in the lower receptacle plate (and also in the upper receptacle plate (22)) through pinching off the tubular parison interferes with a flow of the residual liquid to the bottom-side discharge valve (28). Thus, in accordance with the invention, the inner plastic receptacle (14) is provided with welded pinch-off seams (30) on two diametrically opposing side walls, preferably with one seam ending directly in the integral discharge valve (28). The discharge valve (28) thus lies in the middle of the side walls with the joining weld for the first time entirely in the tube pinch-off area around the blow mandrel within the tube. The thread or the connection flange is formed with an exact calibration on the blow mandrel unit (40) to thereby omit a soldering of the pipe and drilling of the receptacle with all accompanying uncertainties, while improving the residue emptying properties.
Abstract:
A reusable container, made of a thermoplastic material, with at least one filler and drain opening (18) in the top panel (20) and with a circumferential upper and lower stacking ring (12, 16). To permit reuse, direct stackability, good residual drainability as well as good manipulability of the container, this invention provides for the upper stacking ring (12) to have a slightly larger diameter than the lower stacking ring (16) and to feature on the inside of its upper rim a recess matching the diameter of the lower stacking ring (16) and on the outside a vertically protruding circular flange, so that, when stacked one container atop the other, the lower stacking ring of the upper container fits into the recess in the upper stacking ring of the barrel underneath and is snugly centered therein by the vertically protruding circular flange. This allows for the direct, multiple, secure stacking of the containers that are the object of this invention.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a cylindrical, blow-molded lidded barrel (wide-mouthed drum) with a barrel lid and tension-ring closure. Previously known lidded barrels have comparatively little ability to withstand falls and are therefore not well-suited for handling liquids. Owing to the special configuration of the barrel lid and the barrel mouth edges as well as by a special matching of the individual components to one another, the lidded barrel according to the invention can be manipulated in the filled state with the same barrel-gripping tool (parrot's beak), ans is universally employed and in industrial use for modem plastic L-ring bung barrels or normal steel bung barrels. By improving the strength of the lidded barrel when it is dropped, the barrel is also made especially well-suited for handling liquids since it remains liquidtight even when dumped or dropped from great heights.
Abstract:
A plastic drum lid for a standard lidded drum using a clamping member to seal the lid to the drum. The lid includes a central top section of a smaller diameter then the diameter of the lid, with the central section spaced from the rim of the lid by a circumferential groove.
Abstract:
Bunged vessel having solid carriage and transport rings formed in one piece with the shell of the vessel near the head surfaces of the vessel, wherein the horizontal lower edge of the ring and the vertical inner wall of the ring form the bearing surfaces for the vessel lifter. Each carriage and transport ring is connected in one piece with the vessel by a connecting ring formed of an axial prolongation of the cylindrical part of the shell of the vessel, while the bottom of the groove between the connecting ring and the part of the shell rising conically towards the head surface of the vessel is arranged at a distance below the horizontal bearing surface of the carriage and transport ring.
