Abstract: The present disclosure provides a packet tracing mechanism will be described that provides packet tracing information to a mobile network controller. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a data packet sent from a source node to a destination node; determining if the data packet is to be updated with packet tracing information; and upon determining that the data packet is to be updated, updating the packet tracing information of the data packet to include identification of the network device and an ingress timestamp of the data packet at the network device for a corresponding network controller to determining network routing policies.

Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques and mechanisms for intelligently sampling packet flows within a network. The techniques enable the sampling of a limited set of packet flows that show greatest amount of information about the network from the packet flows in order to provide the greatest insight on application performance, network packet, and critical events within the network. Additionally, the techniques provide configurable parameters, such that the techniques are customizable for each user's network.

Abstract: Techniques for simulation of orchestration and automation are disclosed. These techniques include simulating a distributed orchestration system using a simulation topology including a plurality of queues used in place of processing elements in the distributed orchestration system. The techniques further include identifying a plurality of characteristics of the simulation topology, after the simulation, and modifying the distributed orchestration system based on the plurality of characteristics.

Abstract: Devices, systems, methods, and processes for transmitting and receiving one or more data packets are described herein. A device may face an internal non-deterministic delay in processing causing a gap or an interruption during transmission of the data packet. During the gap, the device can transmit one or more Intra-Packet Idle (IPI) words between the transmission of the data packet. The IPI words can be ignored or discarded by a receiver. The device may transmit the data packet into multiple parts by transmitting the IPI words between the parts. The receiver can receive the parts of the data packet and the IPI words and retrieve the data packet based on the parts of the data packet. The device may set a configurable threshold value indicative of a maximum number of the IPI words that can be transmitted during the gap of the interruption, such that the receiver can efficiently identify and discard a runt packet. The device does not require a buffer to fetch and store the data packet prior to the transmission, thereby eliminating a latency caused by the buffer.

Abstract: According to one or more embodiments of the disclosure, the techniques herein are directed toward a dynamic transaction-aware web application authentication using call intercepts. In one embodiment, a method comprises: intercepting, by a monitoring process, calls made for transactions within an executing application; determining, by the monitoring process, whether a particular intercepted call triggers an enhanced user authentication requirement for a particular transaction; initiating, by the monitoring process in response to the particular intercepted call triggering the enhanced user authentication requirement, a corresponding challenge to adequately authenticate a user for the particular transaction; and allowing, by the monitoring process, the particular intercepted call to proceed for the particular transaction in response to an adequately authenticated user for the particular transaction.

Abstract: Techniques to move high current power distribution layers for integrated circuit core power and serializer-deserializer (SERDES) power into a center area of the integrated circuit footprint. This provides a more reliable and higher current distribution into the center of a large integrated circuit footprint, without causing disruption of high speed signal routing or increased signal integrity burden to the high speed signals. Arrangements and methods for routing out the core power area of a main printed circuit board under an integrated circuit and replacing it with a custom power printed circuit board (power plug) that is attached by a metalized paste sintering process. This provides a more reliable and higher current distribution into the center of a large integrated circuit or other high-power component, without causing disruption of high speed signal routing.
