    Abstract: A reference voltage generator includes a detecting voltage provider, a comparator, and a core circuit. The detecting voltage provider provides a detecting voltage with a first voltage level corresponding to a voltage coefficient. The comparator compares the first voltage level of the detecting voltage with a plurality of sampled amplitudes of an input signal to respectively generate a plurality of comparison results. The core circuit is used to: collect a plurality of first comparison results associated with a current received bit of a preset value from the comparison results; take the voltage coefficient as a first boundary voltage coefficient in response to the first comparison results satisfying a first condition; take the voltage coefficient as a second boundary voltage coefficient in response to the first comparison results satisfying a second condition. The reference circuit generates a reference voltage according to the first and second boundary voltage coefficients.

    Abstract: The invention provides an image compensation method suitable to a display. First, an image processing circuit obtains pixel data related to a current pixel, a first and a second adjacent pixels from an image frame. The first and the second adjacent pixels are respectively located at two opposite sides of the current pixel. Then, the image processing circuit determines whether a color block edge exists between the current pixel, the first adjacent pixel and the second adjacent pixel according to the pixel data related to the current pixel, the first adjacent pixel and the second adjacent pixel. The image processing circuit performs first color edge compensation on the pixel data related to the current pixel when determining that the color block edge exists between the current pixel and the first adjacent pixel and no color block edge exists between the current pixel and the second adjacent pixel. An image processing circuit is further provided.

    Abstract: The driving apparatus for driving a touch display panel includes a first voltage generating circuit configured to generate a common reference voltage, a second voltage generating circuit configured to generate a touch driving signal, and a control circuit configured to generate a switching signal. The switching signal is at the first voltage level during display periods for providing the common reference voltage to the touch display panel. The switching signal is at the second voltage level during touch periods for providing the touch driving signal to the touch display panel.     Abstract: An apparatus and a method for sensing a display panel are provided. The apparatus includes a source driving circuit and a sensing circuit. The source driving circuit is coupled to data lines to drive the pixel circuits according to a display period comprising frame periods. The sensing circuit is coupled to a plurality of pixel circuits. The sensing circuit senses characteristics of the pixel circuits in the test data periods of the display period. The test data periods are periodically arranged in the display period. In each of the test data periods, a corresponding pixel circuit receives test data, and the sensing circuit senses the electrical characteristic of the corresponding pixel circuit. In the scan-line periods of each of the frame periods, the corresponding pixel circuit receives display data from a corresponding data line, and the sensing circuit does not sense the corresponding pixel circuit.

    Abstract: An encoding method and an encoding device for 3D video are provided. The method includes the following. Pixel data of a first macro block in a first frame to be encoded is loaded, wherein the first frame belongs to a first view angle. Pixel data of a search window in a reference frame is loaded. A first motion estimation is executed according to the pixel data of the search window and the first macro block. Pixel data of a second macro block in a second frame to be encoded is loaded, wherein the second frame belongs to a second view angle different from the first view angle. A second motion estimation is executed according to the pixel data of the search window and the second macro block, thereby sharing the pixel data of the search window with the first motion estimation. Accordingly, the demand for a memory bandwidth is decreased.

    Abstract: A video encoding apparatus and an operating method thereof are provided. The video encoding apparatus includes an encoding circuit, a reconstructed frame generating circuit, a deblocking filter and a determination circuit. The encoding circuit generates encoded data according to a residual frame and generates a reconstructed residual frame. The reconstructed frame generating circuit generates a first reconstructed frame according to the reconstructed residual frame and a predicted frame. The deblocking filter generates a second reconstructed frame by eliminating discontinuities in reconstructed blocks of the first reconstructed frame. The current reconstructed block is not output to the memory when a current reconstructed block is identical to a co-located reference block of a reference frame stored in the memory. The current reconstructed block is output to the memory when the current reconstructed block is different from the co-located reference block in the reference frame.
