Abstract: Various aspects of the disclosure relate to delivering a limited amount of system information. For example, the delivery of system information may be divided into broadcasting a limited amount of the system information and using unicast signaling for delivery of the remaining system information. In some aspects, the delivery of a limited amount of system information may involve broadcasting a compressed PLMN ID list (e.g., broadcasting indications of PLMNs). In some aspects, the delivery of a limited amount of system information may involve broadcasting an indication of the version of system information that is valid for a cell. In some aspects, the delivery of a limited amount of system information may involve broadcasting multiple configurations of system information along with indications of each configuration. In some aspects, the delivery of a limited amount of system information may involve broadcasting compressed non-cell-related system information.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are described for wireless communication, including for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback in a system that supports communications using transmission time intervals (TTIs) of different durations. A base station may identify a user equipment's (UE) capability to provide HARQ feedback for transmissions that use TTIs of a shorter duration relative to other TTIs supported in the system. The base station may select a HARQ timing mode based on the capability of the UE and may indicate the selected HARQ timing mode to the UE. The base station may then transmit one or more data transmissions to the UE using the reduced TTIs. The UE may respond with HARQ feedback based on the HARQ timing mode. The HARQ timing mode may be based on different response times based on the location of the data transmission within a TTI or relative to data transmission in other TTIs.

Abstract: According to the present disclosure, CSI and/or a plurality of ACKs related to a group of DL data transmissions may be buffered at the UE as a GACK until a DCI trigger is received from the eNB. Once the trigger is received, the UE may transmit the CSI and/or GACK to the eNB. In this way HARQ feedback and/or CSI may be reliably communicated while reducing payload. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus send, to a UE, data transmissions associated with a first plurality of downlink subframes. In an aspect, the apparatus increments a counter for each data transmission sent to the UE. In a further aspect, the apparatus transmits, to the UE, a first trigger for a first GACK when a counter is greater than or equal to a threshold.

The described aspects include receiving a transmission having a first subframe slot and a second subframe slot, at least one of the first subframe slot and the second subframe slot have a single-slot transmission time interval (TTI). The described aspects further include detecting a first demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) in the first subframe slot and a second DM-RS in the second subframe slot. The described aspects further include determining whether to demodulate the at least one downlink channel in the first subframe slot using the first DM-RS in the first subframe slot or to demodulate both the first DM-RS in the first subframe slot and the second DM-RS in the second subframe slot based on whether at least one condition exists.

Abstract: Base stations (such as small cells) may support active and dormant states. To facilitate state transitions, these cells may transmit discovery signals. The transmission design of both discovery signals and network synchronization signals from small cells should provide for regular periodicity, while supporting the benefit of transitioning between active and dormant states. Disclosed is a method, a computer program product, and an apparatus that determine a first reference signal for at least one of discovery or measurement, and a second reference signal for synchronization, where both the first reference signal and the second reference signal are based on a same type of reference signal.
