Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems for processing uplink broadcast or multicast (“broadcast/multicast”) packets from a user equipment (UE) and distributing the broadcast/multicast packets to other UEs in a network. In some aspects, a UE may receive, from a base station, a downlink packet comprising broadcast or multicast (broadcast/multicast) Ethernet data for a protocol data unit (PDU) session of the UE with a data network (DN) associated with the base station, determining whether the downlink packet corresponds to an uplink packet previously transmitted to the base station by the UE, discarding the downlink packet for the PDU session based on determining that the UE previously transmitted the corresponding uplink packet comprising the broadcast/multicast Ethernet data for the PDU session to the base station, and processing the downlink packet for the PDU session based on determining that the UE did not previously transmit the corresponding uplink packet.

Abstract: In embodiments of systems and methods for managing acknowledgement packets in an uplink data packet stream including secure or encrypted data packets, a computing device may identify uplink acknowledgement (UL ACK) packets within the uplink data packet stream, and may accelerate processing of the identified UL ACK packets. In some embodiments, UL ACK packets may be identified based on whether packet lengths of packets meet a packet length threshold or meet a packet length range. In some embodiments, UL ACK packets may be identified based on information for identifying such packets receiving via a cross-layer application program interface (API). In some embodiments, UL ACK packets based whether packets include a specified differentiated services field codepoint (DSCP) in a packet header portion that is not encrypted.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support enhanced burst transmission operations. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a wireless communication device, a signaling message indicating a burst transmission, the burst transmission including one or more sets of physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions. The method also includes transmitting or receiving, by the wireless communication device, at least one set of PDSCH or PUSCH transmissions of the one or more sets of PDSCH or PUSCH transmissions of the burst transmission based on the signaling message. The method further includes transitioning, by the wireless communication device, to a power saving mode based on the signaling message. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE), such as a UE associated with an extended reality (XR) device, may obtain frame data from one or more cameras associated with the UE. The UE may determine a path of a beam providing communication between the UE and a base station, determine a location of a base station in communication with the UE, or both, where the base station location may be relative to a location of the UE. The UE may identify, based on the frame data, the path of the beam, the base station location, the UE location, or a combination thereof, a physical blockage to the communication. The UE may perform beam management for the communication based on identifying the physical blockage, so as to mitigate the impact the physical blockage may have on the communications between the UE and the base station.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a base station via a first instance of a periodic data burst, where the periodic data burst may include one or more uplink or downlink transmissions scheduled on a first bandwidth part (BWP). The UE may start a bandwidth switching timer at the beginning of the first instance of the periodic data burst, and determine whether the bandwidth switching timer has expired upon expiration of an inactivity timer that was triggered by receipt of one or more downlink control channel messages. The UE may operate, based on the determination, on one of the first BWP or a second BWP during at least a portion of a time period that extends from the expiration of the inactivity timer and a beginning of a second instance of the periodic data burst.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to estimate, during a first time interval, at least one of a first interference level for a first radio access technology (RAT) caused at least in part by a second RAT, a second interference level for the second RAT caused at least in part by the first RAT, or a combination thereof. The UE may transmit a control message to a base station using the first RAT based on at least one of the first estimated interference level, the second estimated interference level, or a combination thereof. The UE may then communicate, based on the control message and during a second time interval, with the base station using the first RAT and with a wireless device using the second RAT, the second time interval being after the first time interval.
