Abstract: In an embodiment, a UE establishes, with a peer sidelink UE, at least one sidelink communications link that each comprises one or more hops. The UE determines estimates a propagation delay between the UE and the peer sidelink UE based in part upon a relationship between a propagation time, between the UE and the peer sidelink UE, and Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) irrespective of whether the UE remains synchronized with respect to the network clock.

Abstract: Some aspects described herein relate to determining, by a transmitter user equipment (UE) in sidelink communications with a receiver UE, a feedback forwarding timing capability based at least in part on a first timing for receiving and processing feedback from the receiver UE, and receiving, from an access point and based on the feedback forwarding timing capability, at least an uplink resource grant for transmitting feedback for at least one of sidelink communications or downlink communications. Other aspects relate to determining, by a transmitter UE in sidelink communications with a receiver UE, a timing capability for the receiver UE to at least one of receive sidelink communications from the transmitter UE or report feedback for the sidelink communications to the transmitter UE.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for a vehicle user equipment (VUE) to obtain extrinsic information about an object or location. The VUE may transmit a request for information about the object or the location to a road side unit (RSU). The RSU may receive the request and determine a set of extrinsic information for the first UE regarding the object or the location based on a set of information from one or more other UEs. The extrinsic information includes information that is not provided by the VUE. The RSU may transmit the set of extrinsic information to the VUE. The VUE may determine whether to accept a feature of the object or the location in the extrinsic information based on the set of extrinsic information and a set of intrinsic information detected by the VUE, The VUE may select an autonomous driving action based on the accepted feature.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) initiates a positioning session based on ranging in a distributed system of UEs. The positioning session includes a plurality of anchor UEs with known positions that provide information including ranging information and their positions to the initiator UE in post-ranging messages. The initiator UE identifies anchor UEs that provide information that does not significantly contribute to the final position estimate for the initiator UE. The initiator UE, for example, may generate position estimates and associated accuracy levels for different subsets of anchor UEs and may use the accuracy levels to identify a subset of anchor UEs that may be used for positioning in place of the full set of anchor UEs without a significant loss of accuracy. Selected UEs are excluded from providing post-ranging messages in subsequent positioning sessions to reduce signaling overhead and improve efficiency.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may generate a pseudorandom noise (PN) sequence, modulate the PN sequence based at least in part on a modulation order parameter, and transmit the PN sequence in one or more symbols prior to transmitting sidelink data. The one or more symbols used to transmit the PN sequence may be used for automatic gain control (AGC) training at a receiving device. The user equipment may then transmit the sidelink data in a plurality of symbols that are subsequent in time relative to the one or more symbols used to transmit the PN sequence, and the receiving device may process the sidelink data based on the AGC training. Abstract: An apparatus (e.g., a third UE) may be configured to detect at least one SPS conflict in a set of REs between a first SL (e.g., an SPS-based) transmission associated with a first UE and a second SL transmission associated with a second UE. The third UE may further be configured to transmit, upon detecting the SPS conflict, an indication of the SPS conflict to at least one of the first and second UEs. A first UE may be configured to receive, from the third UE, the indication of the SPS conflict, the indication of the SPS conflict including information regarding a set of resources associated with the detected conflict. The first UE may be further configured to initiate a resource re-selection for the first SL transmission based on the received indication and to transmit the first SL transmission based on the resource re-selection.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for sidelink FR2 beam alignment over data slots. A first UE may determine that a BPL with a second UE has degraded below a threshold and generate, based on the determination, a beam training frame for an on-demand beam training procedure. The beam training frame may include a first AGC symbol, SCI indicating that the beam training frame is for beam training, and one or more sets of an AGC symbol and beam sweeping reference signals. The first UE may transmit the beam training frame multiplexed with one or more data frames to the second UE. The second UE may receive the beam training frame for the on-demand beam training procedure based on a determination that the BPL with the first UE has degraded below the threshold.
