    Abstract: Techniques are provided for positioning bandwidth limited user equipment (UE). In an example method for providing a positioning reference signal (PRS) to a bandwidth limited user equipment includes generating a PRS comprising a plurality of symbols occupying a frequency range in a first slot of a radio frame, the PRS including a first set of the plurality of symbols occupying a first portion of the frequency range, a second set of the plurality of symbols occupying a second portion of the frequency range, and transmitting the PRS to the bandwidth limited user equipment.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may identify a slot format configuration, such as a time division duplex (TDD) slot format configuration, and one or more downlink repetition configurations corresponding to a number of downlink repetitions for a user equipment (UE). The base station may transmit the configurations to the UE. The UE may determine that the number of downlink repetitions and the configured slot format satisfy, or fail to satisfy, a validation rule for monitoring the number of downlink repetitions. The UE may monitor, or refrain from monitoring, the number of repetitions based on whether the validation rule is satisfied.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to defining a bandwidth part (BWP) within an operating bandwidth, and sub-BWPs within the BWP, where the sub-BWPs can be used for scheduling frequency-hopping transmissions. As one example, a base station may schedule frequency-hopping transmissions using two or more sub-BWPs. The base station may configure a portion of an operating bandwidth to serve as a BWP used for communicating with a UE over the wireless communication network, define two or more sub-BWPs at different frequency locations within the BWP, each sub-BWP including resource blocks provided in the BWP, and provide a scheduling gap when a frequency hop is scheduled between two or more sub-BWPs at the UE, wherein the scheduling gap accommodates radio frequency retuning at the UE.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a control resource set (CORESET) that indicates a precoder granularity unit over which a same precoding is used for resources of the CORESET. The precoder granularity unit may be greater than a resource element group bundle of the CORESET and less than contiguous resource blocks of the CORESET. The UE may monitor for one or more physical downlink control channel candidates according to the configuration. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: In an aspect, a BS is configured as a serving cell of a UE. The BS transmits data to the UE in accordance with a frequency hopping scheme over a first set of T-F resources of a first BWP and a second set of T-F resources of a second BWP. The BS (or another BS) further transmits, to the UE over a third BWP that is different than the second BWP, a PDCCH including a PI field with a PI associated with the transmitted data over the second set of T-F resources of the second BWP. The UE receives the data and the PDCCH. The UE processes the received data over (at least) the second set of T-F resources based on the PI.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a capability report to a base station indicating a triggering offset. The base station may configure the UE with one or more channel state information (CSI) measurement resources and send downlink control information (DCI) that triggers an aperiodic CSI report for some of the CSI measurement resources. The UE may report CSI by measuring the CSI resources after the triggering offset. In some cases, CSI reporting related to the different codebook types (e. g., Type I, Type II) may be modified, where after identifying a type of codebook and determining which type of codebook to process (e. g., based on a number of CSI processing units), the UE may identify a priority associated with different CSI reports. The UE may be configured with various parameters that relax or modify the processing of Type II CSI reports.
