    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine to initiate a random access channel (RACH) procedure with a base station (BS). The UE may determine, based at least in part on determining to initiate the RACH procedure, whether a timing alignment timer, associated with a timing alignment of the UE and the BS, is expired. The UE may initiate the RACH procedure using the timing alignment based at least in part on determining that the timing alignment timer is not expired. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Aspects provide for autonomous adjustment of the uplink and downlink transmission timing in wireless communication networks. A radio access network (RAN) entity (e.g., a scheduling entity, such as a base station or parent integrated access backhaul (IAB) node, or a centralized network node, such as an IAB donor node central unit) may provide support to a scheduled entity (e.g., a user equipment (UE) or child IAB node) to operate in an autonomous time adjustment (ATA) mode to autonomously adjust its uplink transmission timing to compensate for the change in downlink reception timing. The RAN entity may generate ATA mode information related to the ATA mode for the scheduled entity and transit the ATA mode information to the scheduled entity.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for wireless communication are provided. A transmitting apparatus receives an indication to use multiple subframes to send uplink control information, codes the uplink control information over the multiple subframes based on the indication, and sends the coded uplink control information via the multiple subframes. Sending the coded uplink control information includes transmitting acknowledgement information (ACK) of a current downlink-centric self-contained subframe in an uplink acknowledgement portion of the current downlink-centric self-contained subframe, bundling ACK bits of multiple downlink-centric self-contained subframes and encoding the bundled ACK bits to generate parity acknowledgement bits associated with systematic acknowledgement bits, transmitting the systematic acknowledgement bits in each uplink acknowledgement portion of the multiple downlink-centric self-contained subframes, and transmitting the parity acknowledgement bits associated with the acknowledgement information bits of the multiple downlink-centric self-contained subframes in an uplink-centric self-contained subframe that is sequentially subsequent to the multiple downlink-centric self-contained subframes.

    Abstract: A first apparatus may send, to a base station in a first carrier frequency, a request associated with determination of a first beam used for communication between the base station and the UE. The first apparatus may communicate with the base station in a second carrier frequency based on the request associated with the determination of the first beam, the first carrier frequency being different from the second carrier frequency. A second apparatus may receive, from a base station in a first carrier frequency, a message associated with determination of a first beam used for communication between the base station and the UE. The second apparatus may communicate with the base station in a second carrier frequency based on the message associated with the determination of the first beam, the first carrier frequency being different from the second carrier frequency.
