Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a base station may transmit a radio resource control (RRC) message including an indication of one or more available transmission time intervals (TTIs) for transmitting aperiodic sounding reference signals (SRSs). The base station may transmit one or more additional RRC messages, which may include an aperiodic SRS resource trigger list parameter. One or more code points for an SRS trigger may be mapped to the available TTIs indicated in the first RRC message. The base station may transmit a downlink control information (DCI) message, which may trigger SRS transmissions according to the RRC messages. The DCI message may include an SRS trigger, and may indicate one or more SRS resource sets on which to transmit aperiodic SRSs. The UE may interpret the trigger as indicating an available slot in which to transmit the SRSs based on the available TTIs.

Abstract: A user equipment may be configured to assist channel reconstruction using partial spatial sounding. Abstract: Generally, the described techniques provide for duplex mode configuration for control information (e.g., duplex mode configuration for communication of downlink control information). For example, duplex modes may be defined (e.g., as full duplex (FD) capable, FD only, half duplex (HD) only, etc.), and such duplex modes may be configured for control resource sets (CORESETs), search space (SS) sets, or both. In some examples, duplex modes configured for a CORESET/SS set may depend on the priority of information conveyed via the CORESET/SS set. For example, a CORESET/SS set for high priority or critical control information may be configured with a HD mode to avoid FD self-interference, while CORESET/SS set for other control information may be configured with a FD mode to improve spectrum efficiency. Techniques for resolving conflicting duplex mode configurations (e.g., when a HD mode is configured for a SS set within a CORESET configured with FD) are also described.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may be configured to transmit or receive reference signals in flexible symbols that are indicated as used for full duplex communications. The UE may transmit or receive reference signals over frequency resources of a symbol indicated as a flexible symbol, which may configured for uplink or downlink communications, that is also configured as full duplex, which may include frequency resources for both uplink and downlink communications. The UE may determine whether or how to transmit one or more reference signals in a flexible symbol based on at least one of the bandwidth of the uplink resources or the bandwidth of the downlink resources, the frequency positions of the reference signals, or other criteria. A base station may be configured to similarly transmit or receive reference signals in flexible symbols that are indicated as used for full duplex communications.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for grouping common DCI for CLI measurement and reporting. In a first aspect, a UE may receive DCI that is common to a group of UEs that includes the UE. The DCI may be configured to trigger at least one of an SRS transmission or a CLI measurement. The UE may transmit the SRS transmission and/or report the CLI measurement based on the DCI that is common to the group of UEs. In a second aspect, a base station may transmit at least one DCI that is common to the group of UEs to trigger the at least one of the SRS transmission or the CLI report for the group of UEs. The base station may receive the CLI report from at least a subset of UEs in the group of UEs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify an uplink resource for reporting a Doppler measurement to a base station. The UE may determine a reference signal set precedes a reference point associated with the uplink resource prior to performing Doppler measurements based on the reference signals in the reference signal set. Each reference signal in the reference signal set may occur no later than a channel state information (CSI) reference resource, or an offset relative to the uplink resource defined by a number of symbols. The UE may determine the Doppler measurement based on the reference signal set, or multiple reference signal sets and may transmit the Doppler measurement to the base station in the uplink resource.
