Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for performing coordinated clear channel assessments (CCAs) in a shared radiofrequency band are provided. In one aspect, a method of wireless communication performed by a first wireless communication device includes: receiving a control signal indicating a CCA trigger associated with the first wireless communication device and a second wireless communication device; performing, based on the CCA trigger, a CCA; transmitting, to the second wireless communication device based on the CCA, a first CCA success signal; receiving, from the second wireless communication device, a second CCA success signal; initiating, based on the first CCA success signal and the second CCA success signal, a channel occupancy time (COT); and amplifying and forwarding a communication in the COT.

Abstract: A first wireless device transmits one or more transmissions for a second wireless device to a repeater for repetition to the second wireless device; adjusts a repeater operation based on a phase noise in transmission between the first wireless device and the repeater; and communicates with at least one of the repeater or the second wireless device based on the adjusted repeater operation. A repeater receives from a first wireless device, a request for the repeater to report a phase noise in transmissions between the first wireless device and the repeater for repetition with a second wireless device; and transmits a report of the phase noise to the first wireless device based on the request. A repeater receives, from a first wireless device, a transmission for repetition with a second wireless device; and transmits the repetition of the transmission to the second wireless device with a phase noise compensation.

A network entity can transmit a keep-alive signal (KAS) to reduce the energy consumption of a network when the network is in an idle mode. Abstract: Aspects relate to a base station configured to transmit a message to a sidelink (SL)-repeater, configuring the SL-repeater to transmit sidelink synchronization signal blocks (S-SSBs) including S-SSB index numbers, receive a SL-node identification and a preferred S-SSB index number, and transmit the SL-node identification and the preferred S-SSB index number to the SL-repeater. Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sidelink repeating operations, such as by using an assisting node (e.g., a smart repeater, relay, or reflector) to enhance sidelink communication reliability. For example, one or more assisting nodes may be configured by a network entity and repeat sidelink communications for two or more user equipments (UEs). In aspects, an assisting node may receive, from the network entity, an indication of resources available for sidelink communications between a first UE and a second UE. The assisting node may also receive signaling that configures the assisting node to repeat sidelink communications between the first and the second UEs over the indicated resources. The assisting node then repeats sidelink communications between the first and the second UEs according to the received signaling.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for acquiring location information of an assisting node, such as an assisting transmission and reception point (TRP). The location information may include geographical location information as well as spatial information.
