A data transmission method and a related device are disclosed. The data transmission method includes: obtaining to-be-transmitted K bits; mapping the K bits to F resource units according to a codebook and a value of the K bits, so as to obtain a codeword CK that is to be transmitted by using the F resource units, where the codebook includes S codewords in a one-to-one mapping relationship with S different values of the K bits; and sending the codeword CK by using the F resource units.

Embodiments disclose a method and an apparatus for transmitting indication information. The method includes: determining, according to one or more codebooks, a first codebook to be used by a terminal device to send an uplink data stream; determining codebook indication information used to indicate the first codebook; and determining codebook indication information used to indicate the first codebook. For the method and the apparatus for transmitting indication information according to embodiments of the present invention, a network device determines, according to one or more codebooks, a first codebook to be used by a terminal device to send an uplink data stream, determines codebook indication information used to indicate the first codebook, and sends the codebook indication information to the terminal device, so that the terminal device can determine the first codebook assigned by the network device and transmit data by using the first codebook.

The present invention discloses an indication information transmission method and apparatus. The method includes determining a first signature sequence and a first modulation constellation that are used to transmit a first downlink data stream to a terminal device and determining one or more second signature sequences and one or more second modulation constellations that are used to transmit a second downlink data stream. The method also includes determining indication information that is used to indicate the first signature sequence, the first modulation constellation, the one or more second signature sequences, and the one or more second modulation constellations and transmitting the indication information to the terminal device.

The present application provide a method for a terminal device to transmit uplink service data to a base station. The terminal device obtains uplink service data from a user input in a service session. The terminal device obtains a codebook from a preset codebook set of the terminal and a pilot sequence corresponding to the codebook. The terminal device generates an uplink data signal according to the codebook and the uplink service data, and generate a pilot signal corresponding to the pilot sequence. The terminal device transmits the uplink data signal and the pilot signal to the base station.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a capacity station activation method and system. A coverage station sends activation control information to a capacity station, where the activation control information enables the capacity station to send a pilot signal to a user in a power decreasing manner; receives a pilot signal measurement result from the user; determines, according to the measurement result, a capacity station that needs to be activated to meet a system requirement; and sends activation information to the determined capacity station that needs to be activated. According to the capacity station activation method and system provided by the embodiments of the present invention, the capacity station that needs to be activated can be more accurately determined, transmit power of an activated capacity station can be controlled, and power consumption of an entire system can be reduced.

With the capacity station activation method and system in the embodiments of the present invention, a capacity station that needs to be activated can be determined more accurately, and furthermore, transmit power of an activated capacity station can be controlled, thereby reducing energy consumption of a whole system.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and an apparatus for transmitting data in a multiple-antenna system, which are applied in a transmit diversity mode. The method includes: in a data transmission period, determining, according to transmission quality of the system, the number of antennas to be turned off and turning-off time; and in the turning-off time, turning off the determined number of antennas, turning on remaining antennas other than the antennas that are turned off, and transmitting, through the remaining antennas, the data to be transmitted; and during the remaining time of the data transmission period excluding the turning-off time, turning on all antennas and transmitting, through all the antennas, the data to be transmitted. According to the embodiments of the present invention, power consumption may be decreased while at the same time dynamic transmission performance of the system is considered, decreasing implementation complexity.

A resource allocation method and a base station which includes: acquiring, by the base station, channel state information (CSI) of a current scheduling timeslot; obtaining a compensation factor according to the CSI and a preset packet error ratio, where the compensation factor is a value corresponding to the preset packet error ratio in an inverse cumulative distribution function of a non-central chi-square random variable and a non-central parameter; replacing the CSI with the compensation factor, and determining a functional relationship between rate and power of sending data by the base station if a packet error ratio of the base station is less than or equal to the preset packet error ratio; and determining, according to the functional relationship and a generalized dynamic back pressure algorithm, the rate and total power of sending data by the base station, so as to minimize the total power of the base station.

The present invention provides a method and a base station for managing capacity of a wireless communication network, which relates to the field of wireless communications and is capable of saving energy while adjusting capacity of a wireless communication network of a base station. The present invention includes: checking total traffic of all overlay networks belonging to the base station; if the checked total traffic keeps being smaller than a preset load threshold, searching for and determining a first overlay network; maintaining normal work of a power amplifier of at least one antenna in each group of antennas in the first overlay network and turning off power amplifiers of one or more other antennas; and connecting the one or more other antennas to the power amplifiers maintaining normal work in the groups in which the one or more other antennas are located.
